The agents removed our TV from the box very carefully and put it on the stand. which we already had. They also hooked up our Xfinity cable service, Firestick, and Netflix subscription. They showed us how to use the remote, and made it possible for us to use our cable remote also. The agents answered all of our questions, and removed our old TV. The men were very knowledgeable and helpful with any concerns we had. We would recommend the Geek Squad service to anyone buying a large screen TV, because they are trained to remove a large, somewhat heavy TV from the box and set it up properly and quickly.

We had several agents work with us, due to a manufacturing issue that caused the first TV to not turn off. Replacement part didn’t fix the issue, but the Geek Squad agent contacted BB and arranged for an another new TV. Jay took care of everything. Every interaction with the Geek Squad was fantastic!!!!

Install went fine. Realized later that the sound bar went off with the tv remote but did not go on with the tv remote. Called to get tech support. Got the installers cell number to call direct otherwise 2 weeks b4 tech could come. Left 2 voicemails on techs cell but got no response. Tech was scheduled to come yesterday but was sick and had to cancel the appointment. The customer service person said he would call the local office to reschedule and would get back to me later in the day, no response. Today I received an automated message saying the appointment had been canceled and I would have to contact them to reschedule. Needless to say I'm a bit frustrated.

We had a problem where our home theater no longer transmitted video and then audio for our cable. I diagnosed it as potentially an ethernet cable problem. However, I wanted a second opinion and the Geek Squad tech came and determined that the converter box (IP to HDMI) was potentially the cause. They further analyzed and determined that the cable needed to be spliced. In the end new converters and cable re-splicing addressed this vexing problem, The tech demonstrated good debugging and communicated clearly what was being done. The result was great including reprogramming our universal remote.
