It may not blow your socks off but it does the job

I am using this WD drive in an external with the intention of eventually using it in my Mac Mini for music storage. Even though I've had it a shortime I'm confident it will remain reliable for years to come - most of us know poor quality HHDs sounds like at start up- That is why it deserves five stars. It's not an SSD and you may not want to put it in your laptop as the main boot but it deserves five stars because it does it's job. *****

I started pricing a new PS4 and a PS5 as I thought I had no other options. I started googling and realized replacing the hard drive was a simple task. I purchased this hard drive, downloaded the PS4 reinstallation software onto a flash drive and my DEAD PS4 was alive again and functioning better than previously. I’d much rather pay $40 and install a new Hard drive than pay hundreds on a new system. I’m glad I purchased this as switching the hard drive only involved 5 screws total and about a 90 second replacement time.
