This is a very large OTR unit with nice control layout across the bottom of the glass. The coking options are not displayed until you hit a button, then all the cooking options light up. Another Big consideration for me was the high volume fan. With four settings so you can get just the right amount of air flow - It will move some air on #1! Using #3 (Medium Low) works fine for collecting steam from a pot without creating too much draft. It cooks great potatoes if you follow the instructions in the owners manual. Use the "Potato" button and it will sense and cook 1 to 4 potatoes. I have used the Convection feature to cook fish sticks and tater tots. As an oven, it takes several minutes to pre-heat. The tater tots came out crispy and well cooked. The fish sticks worked ok, need to adjust the cooking time. I give it 4 stars because it took some time to get comfortable with the two controls on the far right end: Start and Cancel. Start is an arrow with "+ 30 sec." as a caption. Cancel is an X with "Control lock" as a caption. One other thing to consider is door size. Since the door is full size, I have to move out of the way when opening the door. Many microwaves have the controls on the right side beyond the door making for a shorter door.

This microwave offered everything I was looking for at a fabulous price. Its has a large inside with a shelf and its a convection, It also can be programmed from my phone. We installed it and it was simple. It does everything from reheat to cook to crisp and bake food. It is simple to operate. I cant say enough how much I love this microwave and the smart decision to purchase it. It was the helpful associate at best buy that showed it to us, it wasnt even one I was considering but so very happy we bought it.

Our existing over-the-range microwave died (OK, it didn't die, but the handle broke off) and it needed to be replaced ASAP. After all, how else are you going to warm up the hot chocolate for the grandkids. Anyway, Best Buy had this one on sale and a review of the competitors proved this was a good deal. I kind of liked the idea of the convection oven being built in as it would give me an excuse for getting rid of a large toaster oven with convection capabilities that was taking up significant counter space. Installation was fairly straight forward. Asked for some quick help from the son-in-law to help lift it up in place. Total install time was maybe 30 minutes. This thing is big. And powerful. And smart! It can automatically sense how much time and what % power is needed for many common tasks. And my experience with that part of things has made me quite impressed. If you are looking for a simple microwave to warm up coffee or pop corn, there are some fine, less expensive and smaller units out there. But if you use your microwave as a true kitchen tool or utensil, then this one would be hard to beat. I am impressed, and that's tough to do.

Love the roominess of this great combo of convection and microwave. Looks great with plenty of venting for those steamy items. The convection oven is great for hot days when we don't want to hear up the house with the regular oven. Love it!

Excellent microwave and convection oven. Very quiet, looks great, large interior, convection works great. Have made casseroles and pizzas, it comes out as if done in the regular oven. Only wish is that the manual could be more specific for this model.

My wife and I purchased the Whirlpool suite to update our kitchen and we have not been disappointed! This unit is spacious and offers all of the bells and whistles!! Still have a few things to figure out on the user end, but super happy with its performance and appearance for sure!!

This microwave replace one we had less than three years, but it is a great size, convection oven, light in the center and so easy to use.

Very Happy with purchase. Our Rv Convection Microwave died so we decided to replace the RV Model with a residential model microwave. This was the closest fit for the measurements we had to have in the RV. Love the layout of controls and all the features much better than the RV Furrion model we previously had in our unit. Happy to use and the quality of the brand is much better too.

Had to replace old microwave and found this on sale. Installed it and was surprised how much bigger it was compared to old. So far microwave is great just need to get use to the features.

Bought this to replace the original convection oven in our 5th wheel. Never got the courage to test the convection feature our original one but this one I tested it immediately. I love it! Was able to cook a casserole and croissants. Both browned nicely. I have zero need for my oven. Highly recommend this microwave. We like it so much, we are trying to find a reason to justify spending the money to replace our perfectly good working one in our house with it too!

My wish has come true with this microwave. It has everything I have ever dreamed of. It is beautiful to look at and has all the functions required of a microwave and more. You do not ever have to use your oven again. But I used my new dual oven and microwave for several dishes on Thanksgiving. It fits perfectly.

The look of this microwave is lovely! It's roomy and fingerprint free except the glass portion. But prints are minimal when there. The buttons are hard to figure out at first but it works wonderfully! So much better than the older microwaves! Paired perfectly with my oven

We love our new microwave. it is large and high tech. I especially note that it is much more quiet than my old microwave. It looks sharp installed over our stove

It is bigger and heavier than my old microwave but I am happy with its features.

Overall, the controls are fairly intuitive. The microwave function is quite powerful - it heats faster than my previous unit which was supposedly rated the same wattage. The bottom light is quite bright. The only negative is that the exhaust fan is quite loud even on the lower speeds. On high it has the wind noise as expected for a 400 or so CFM fan. On low there is sort of a hum which is quite loud. It's not bad, but not the most quiet fan ever. This is my reasoning for the 4 rather than 5 stars. I have not used the convection function yet. Dimensionally, this is quite a large unit. Make sure if fits your space. I had to trim some backsplash tiles.

Great size and love all of the features it offers. Still trying to figure out a few of them but overall I like it. The only thing I don’t like is how long the preheat takes. I think my regular oven heats up faster than this does.

I love this Whirlpool Convection Microwave oven -it was worth the wait. I have use this as an oven many times and really works well, instead of turning on my regular oven. Perfect for us two to cook in.

So far so good. It’s big. Really big. Seems to work quite well and has lots of neat features. Wish there was a timed night light feature for the underlying it but other than that great.
