A: I had the same question so I contacted Samsung to find out. Their answer: Yes it is glossy.
Q: does this rotate vertically?
A: It does not.

A: Thank you for your question! The ViewFinity S7 does not utilize Samsung’s Matte Display technology. If you are looking for a monitor utilizing the Matte Display to reduce glare and reflections, check out the ViewFinity S9 series.

Q: How do I assemble the stand for the monitor?
A: An instruction manuel should have been included with the monitor, I recall I needed a screwdriver and I just followed the directions.
