- A: AnswerIt depends on where you locate the dock. If your room has lots of furniture which pose obstacles between the vacuum and dock the docking process can be challenging. We also have an earlier iRobot vacuum which touts self docking but has similar a similar problem. We put it in the bedroom and it was able to dock in a room with less furniture , and it went under the king sized bed and cleaned an area we wouldn’t reach with a conventional vacuum.

A: AnswerYes you can just select the button on your phone and it stops cleaning and heads right to the dock. I like this vacuum but it is a very inexpensive one. It bumps in to all the walls a furniture and does not map the house. It makes it back to the dock by itself and charges but you need to empty it often. With all that it does vacuum so you don't have to as often and gets under tables and the beds that don't normally get vacuumed as often.Answered by JBrown

Simpler than most, but works great!
We got this as a secondary vacuum for our carpeted 2nd floor. It doesnt have the bells and whistles as alot of the other ones do like mapping or spot cleaning, but it was a much better deal. It does connect to wifi though so I can turn it in and off with the app or with my Google home which is very cool. The suction is what's really great though, it works really well on carpet and gets all kinds of deep crumbs and hairs out. Our carpets have seriously never looked this good!

I bought this to do my main floor. It works well. The only reason I did not give full 5 stars is due to the app. I have an issue getting it to work with my main Shark I bought before this one. So I am not able to use the app to schedule cleaning days or control this Shark through the app.

Invest!
My Shark works wonderfully it can get stuck from time to time if you have a thick rug. The app works for me even from the office! Scheduling is more convenient during the week setting it on at a specific time. Highly recommend if you are a neat freak.
