A: The 9040 does not. Although I wished it did.
A: They sound the same tried the 2 but my center is under my tv and the glare off the d5 was a distraction so I went with the 9040 sound matches perfect D11 front D7 rear. Hope that helps
A: Hello, if the system settings have not been changed and the sub output just stopped working, I would encourage you to please call our customer service for further assistance. The typical culprit is speakers have been set to large and bass output is on LFE only. In this case set the Bass output to LFE plus main. A: Yes!, I would recommend this speaker! I have the same issue of 12 ft. ceilings in the living area (and tile floors) and also had the same issue of speech clarity on some tv shows. Movies have better overall quality, too. Now, we only have issues on one or two shows that are just produced with the "background" music pushed forward (New Amsterdam,for example). Even British shows have better clarity. Overall, this speaker has improved our AV experience.
A: The CS9040 is 5.95 inches high. However there is a bass radiator on top and the manufacturer recommends 1 - 2 inches of space above the speaker to ensure you get the full effect.

A: The BP 9040 can be used as a center speaker. Floor-standing speakers make great center channel speakers, but some may not prefer the cosmetics of a floor-standing speaker as a center speaker. If you like the cosmetics of a traditional center channel speaker, any one of the CS9000 center speakers will pair with the BP9040. Consider room size when deciding.
Q: Can the CS-9040 be wall mounted
A: Absolutely not. This speaker is super heavy and its like 12 inches deep. Sounds incredible though!
