Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5Bought this to replace a Sony a33 that had finally given up. The choice was between this and the A77. My wife did her homework and decided this was the better, and more cost effective, option. She has used it to take some professional photos and has done nothing but praise this model and her decision. Compared to the price of the a77, this model is definitely worth the money. As with all higher end cameras, this does take some time to get used to all of the features.

Step up
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI was using a a3000 with a 55mm to 210mm and couldn't find anything to upgrade my lenses. I found a 300mm for the A mount and dicided to just up it all. What a real difference it made in the picture quality and ability to take better pictures. I have been using Sony for a long time and moving forward will continue to. Great camera.

Q: QuestionI have old A mount lenses from the film days that I used with my Minolta Maxxum 9Xi camera. The lenses are the 28-105Xi and 100-300Xi lenses and are in great condition. How good/bad will the IQ be if I were to use these lenses on the A68?
Asked by 9xilenses.
- A:Answer When Sony bought Konica-Minolta they made a good decision to keep using A-mount lenses. Sony users immediately have a lot of great lens to choose from Minolta's legendary lenses. And since Sony also kept the image stabilization inside the camera body and not in the lens ( unlike Nikon and Canon ), any lens you use would immediately become an image stabilized lens. On cropped sensor cameras, IQ would be good since most sweet spot is around the center anyway.

Q: QuestionDoes this camera gave image stabilization in the body? In the specs it says image stabilization in the lens. If the latter is the case when I change out lenses I won't have image stabilization.
Asked by Ridente.
- A:Answer As with all of Sony's A-mount cameras it has built-in image stabilization, so every lens you attach has shake reduction.
