The house I bought came with a Honeywell Lyric and was good for about a year and a half. Then it seemed to have trouble staying connected with Alexa as well as other wifi connection problems. Finally got tired of it and looked at the favorable reviews of this thermostat and got it. We already have an Alexa show and couple of dots so didn't need the Ecobee model with built in Alexa. Installation was very easy and set up was a breeze. It was easy to connect to Alexa. This has all the eco- friendly and learning features that are in other smart thermostats although so far the weather here has been mild so I haven't had to interact with it much. So far so good.

I was so resistant to a digital thermostat. Now I love it so much I got another one for my shop. When I go in on those hot or cold days I'd have to give myself an extra 15-30 minutes to make it bearable. Or if I forgot to turn off the unit, I'd have to go back. Now I open up my little app and in 3 seconds I'm done. I can turn things on and off from anywhere. And I remembered the hvac guy said this was great system because it has some sort of an adapter that made it so he didn't have to rewire stuff or something fancy in hvac talk. Because it's saving me at home and work, another person in the building got it too. I can't say enough good thing's about it.

I finally took the plunge and purchased this fabulous Smart Thermostat. It was sure easy to install and has worked perfectly controlling the temperature I prescribed in the set up. I love that it comes alive when you walk up to it, and the weather is easily available. Love this thermostat!
