For Spectre x2, not the Spectre 360

This works great on the Spectre x2, however is a bit short. Input is nice and there is little lag. Please note that HP's naming is very confusing. There are two Active Stylus Pen's. The being said, one is made for the Spectre x360 and this one is made for the Spectre x2....It seems that some of the reviews that left low scores were confused and trying to use this on the wrong device..Why HP named both styluses the same and then the devices so similar is beyond me... Also, the product image is different from the actual product. There isn't a button on the top, it's flat.

The Pen was sold to me as it was supposed to work for the Spectre X2. It was actually the third one I ordered for the new Spectre I purchased. None of the three worked so I had to return the Spectre and buy a Surface Book instead. I am going to try to never buy HP again unless no other option. I am very disappointed in the whole scenario that caused me to lose endless hours downloading and re-installing programs from one unit to another due to HP not telling the sales force that "NO" pen or stylus works for the equipment (as of yet)they are marketing. After the problem I see that I am not alone and it is a BIG problem according to the forums and Internet. It's like selling a car that no fuel will work for it.......

I purchased this pen along with a Spectre laptop. I tried to use the pen, but could not get it to connect to my laptop at first and so I put it back in the box. After a couple weeks, I remembered the pen and since I hadn't used it in a couple weeks, I decided to return it. I don't use the notebook feature of my laptop, so this pen just wasn't for me. If you will use the notebook feature and will write or draw often, I'm sure this would be great for you.

When it comes to purchasing pens or styli for your hp touch-screen, beware. This pen was purchased when I purchased my laptop and I was told it was the right one. It didn't work. It didn't work with my hp Specter 2-in-1 either. I called hp, and was told this is wrong pen. So, I ordered a pen directly from hp. It was the wrong one too. Another call to HP, and finally they sent me the correct one for my Spectra x360, but I still don't have a pen that works on my Elite.

This product can be used on hp Spectre x2 12-a0xx series (2015-16?). Not for newer models and other hp laptops. I could use this palm-rejection digital pen with Nebo (for Surface) on my laptop! This is awesome and perfect combination!!! You should prepare AAAA batteries in stock. Highly recommended if you consider using handwriting software.

Nice digital pen. Works pretty well but definitely takes practice to get comfortable with the pressure sensativity and line thickness when both writing and drawing. I also wish that HP did a better job providing a laptop compatibility chart. I bought and had to return 2 other pens before finally finding this one that works with my laptop.

Fair warning, HP told me that this pen would work with my HP Spectre 360 model 15-BL112DX but it does not. The pen is likely a fine pen, but it will not work at all (as HP said it would) with 15-BL112DX laptop. You should confirm compatibility before purchase and be sure you can return it if, like me, you were lied to by HP.

I have purchase two of those pen. The first one had a broken tip within 6 month of use. The company warranty is non-existent, the customer service could not track the product to verified it. Now the second pen does not respond to the screen properly. I am seriously thinking about switching to a surface pro for my next upgrade.
