Great PC Speaker System
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ran into this Klipsch - ProMedia 2.1 Bluetooth Speaker System in Best Buy while searching for a replacement speaker system for my music keyboards (they have no built-in speakers) and that would also play music from my laptop or smart phone. The Klipsch brand was very familiar to me because over the years I have visited “serious” audio showrooms and compared relatively high-end speaker systems that included the Klipsch brand. Even before the sales person arrived, I was able to pair the Klipsch with my iPhone and was listening to playlists with ease. To say that I was surprised at the sound quality would be an understatement. At this price, I was unaware that this quality of sound would be available. I brought my wife back to audition (she’s pretty picky), and within minutes we had purchased the system. (Luckily it was also on sale!) We’ve had the system now for about two months, and the ability to use the Klipsch both by direct input from the music keyboards and via Bluetooth from my smart devices and laptop has been a really important feature. But it’s the sound that we continue to find amazing for the price. My keyboards create quite a realistic piano sound as well as quality orchestra instruments, jazz ensembles, and a variety of other sounds. With the Klipsch, I now experience the kind of clarity and balance that I had only been able hear on quality headphones. Reproduction of a variety of music has been equally satisfying. We have auditioned a broad range of music from Classical piano, choral, orchestral, chamber, etc. to rock, pop, Jazz, folk, blues, Latin, and others. I have specifically tested tracks that salespeople at high-end stores like to demo. So far, while not the equal of our main stereo system, it is far better than a number of popular systems I had listed to. And it’s only supposed to be a PC speaker system! At this price it’s a bargain. One caveat: After a while, you may have more than one Bluetooth device paired with the Klipsch system. With the Klipsch, a blue light turns on when a device is connected, but you cannot tell which device it is (e.g., one of your smart phones or tablets). This is common with Bluetooth devices. You need to disconnect the already-connected device, either by locating it and shutting off the connection or by power cycling the Klipsch. Similarly, to play from the keyboards or directly from a laptop using the 1/8” connector, the Bluetooth light must be off, i.e., no device can be already connected via Bluetooth. Also, for truly balanced sound, make sure the subwoofer control is not turned up too high.

Sound and bass is just plain awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just got this bad boy delivered today (Purchased on sale for $99.99) and I had some doubts about this thinking that the sound wouldn't be great and the bass would be just like other typical systems but boy was I wrong! I hooked it up to my PC which was easy to set up, 5 minutes at the most? and this thing has some very high quality sound from the speakers and the sub with bass full max is just mind blowing! I have a Samsung (KM39) 200 watt soundbar with sub for one of my TV's and after hearing the sub with this Klipsch, I think my samsung sub is just a weakling. For anyone worried about bluetooth being on constantly with no way to shut it off unless you unplug the entire unit it self, you dont have to worry if you live in a house instead of a tight space apartment complex since in a house and such, BT only reaches 10 to 20 feet at the most I believe? Imagine this, with my samsung soundbar system which has BT built in, my computer is maybe approximately 15 feet away from it and the BT cuts in and out with a weak connection, so BT being open on this Klipsch set is not a worry to me since I doubt anyone would be right beside my bedroom window trying to connect to my speakers via BT playing whatever they please because they would have a hard time keeping a connection or it just cutting out completely. If you are on the verge on getting this... Just do it! Its a very nice unique rich set and looks great with my PC!

Great Bluetooth - 3 Speaker Sound System
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had already purchased the Klipsch wired system a few months back, and I gave it a 5 star rating. Great highs and very deep lows, even at high volumes, with no distortion. With such great sound, I decided to make my apt a complete sound emporium. With over 1200 songs to choose from, saved on my PC. I bought the Klipsch Bluetooth model of the same line, and set it up in my other room. The quality and performance of the wireless system was equal if not slightly better than it's wired cousin near my PC. I recommend either system, but I must say the Bluetooth model is much more diversified. But hang on until you find it on sale at BB, which is often. Its worth every penny.

Amazing Klipsch Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought theses for my office setup and they were great. It is a system that can really fill the room with amazing sound with the usual Klipsch quality. I usually run the Subwoofer level much lower because it is so powerful but when I need to crank I absolutely can! The bluetooth is also a wonderful feature. Although switching back and forth between them you get and awful pop its not the worst thing in the world.

Q: QuestionIs this a NEW model or the same as the past years models?
Asked by D.
- A:Answer I checked out the Klipsch website and it looks like this is a slightly newer system with a wireless option. The wireless is not bluetooth, but instead is a proprietary usb based transmitter. That was the only difference I could find. All other specs were exactly the same was the old system.

Q: QuestionSomeone knows about no power switch (on/off) It means that it's in standby mode? Can it be damaged?
Asked by Herrkike.
- A:Answer Hi For the new model Klips Promedia 2.1 Bluetooth does not have on/off switch and all the time it´s "on", even when you are not listening to music. What I thought like You is to buy a surge protector with a power switch so that you can turn it off to avoid unplugging it from the power outlet.

Q: Questioneverytime i plug in the Klipsch speakers the bluetooth lights keeps popping on but i dont have anything set up for bluttooth on any on my electronic devices and the aux cord is attached to the desktop. I tried taking the power cord off but still nothing.
Asked by koulee645.
- A:Answer In order to switch from the Bluetooth playback to the aux playback, push the volume button in. That acts as a switch to cycle between the two playback options.

Q: QuestionI am thinking of buying these for my projector because we want to have movie nights outside this summer. Are these speakers powerful/loud enough for a group of people to hear outdoors?
Asked by Hesuse.
- A:Answer If you're sitting extremely far back then probably not the best. But I would say within 20 feet as a whole yeah they would probably work just fine outdoors. Just don't expect your body to shake with bass since you're losing the sound everywhere outside

Asked by Zman.
