A:AnswerThank you for your interest! While our Smart Thermostat Enhanced does not include a built-in indoor air quality monitor, our Smart Thermostat Premium does offer this feature. You can explore both models and find the best fit for your home here: https://www.ecobee.com/en-ca/smart-thermostats/
A:Answerecobee thermostats work with most 24VAC relay systems in North America. A:AnswerYes, you can run the HVAC fan independently of heating or cooling with the ecobee Enhanced thermostat. Just set the fan to "On" or use "Fan Hold" in the settings to circulate air as needed.

A:AnswerI am wondering if you found a solution for this issue? I have the same scenario with my home HVAC, 2 zones, 1 thermostat wired and the other not wired and both connected to a gateway that communicates with the dual zone panel. I would like to use smart thermostats, but not sure which ones would work.
A:AnswerYes they will notify you of low temp, high temp and loss of power? They might do more but I have gotten all three at different times while traveling for business.
A:AnswerOur smart thermostats support common HVAC accessories like humidifiers, dehumidifiers, and ventilators. These accessories can be connected using 2-wire or 1-wire setups depending on their configuration. Smart Thermostat Enhanced, however, supports one-wire HVAC accessories through the PEK+ connector but does not support an accessory and the power extender kit (PEK) at the same time.
A:Answerwe set ours at a Carolinas beach home the same way and were getting mildew around the bathroom exhaust fans. Heating man installed better vapor dampers on every fan exhaust hose and problem solved. The bathroom fans have those little crappy plastic flaps even the more expensive ones most times they flip open and stay that way. That allows that humid air to permeate the home causing systems to work harder and sometimes let you down. Simple spring loaded dampers are available and cheap.
A:AnswerGreat question! ecobee Smart Thermostat Enhanced will support a single one-wire HVAC accessory so you could add a compatible humidifier or a dehumidifier.
A:AnswerIt would be helpful to know what your thermostat is controlling. Please submit pictures. Only two wires for thermostat would have a 24v in and one output. Issue is that youd be without a c, but theres a harness or adapation for that. After that, you'd be left choosing between a fan or heat command. This could be rigged to call for fan only when heat runs and have fan and heat low voltage wired together. Or, you could have radiant heat which is common in the western US.
A:AnswerNot actually answering the question.
But I have the same system. So interested to know if the OP tried this and did it work? Any compromise in the functionality?
A:AnswerEven without a Wi-Fi connection, your ecobee will still function as a traditional thermostat; it will engage your equipment as needed and maintain your comfort set points.
