A:AnswerHello Steffi. The heaviest paper the Epson ET-3850 supports is 27 lb (100 g/m2). If using card stock, please make sure it meets these specifications as it could lead to possible feed issues. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
A:AnswerHello DrJosh. The ET-3850 only includes print, copy, and scan features. Unfortunately, fax functionality is not available on this model. We recommend looking at the ET-4850 as it is a printer with similar features and includes fax functionality. At the time of this posting, it is currently in stock on BestBuy's website, but please note inventory can change. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
A:AnswerWhen you connect your printer to your computer it installs Epson Smart Scan and I’ve used that to do all my scanning and it works the same way as the HP smart scan.
A:AnswerHello Trisha. The ET-3850 and ET-4850 are similar printers. The main difference between the two is that the ET-4850 includes fax functionality. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
A:AnswerI had to get Espon help to connect my laptop to the ET-3850 to scan. While I had the tech online, I practiced scanning. The tech told me the ET-3850 does NOT scan double-sided (which was a disappointment to me).
A:AnswerIf you were trying from the printer screen it is kind of painful. The app was much easier for me. Not knowing what you tried, I dont mean to ne too simplistic.
