- Answer Good day, This is not a sublimation printer. I think I did read that there were 3rd partiy inks for that purpose, but I assume that will void the warranty.

We recommend contacting the paper manufacturer to see if it works on our EcoTank printers using dye and pigment-based inks. QuestionWe got the epson ET-8500 printer for Christmas and the first one had a software problem and we had to get a new one. Now we tried using the back paper feed to scan a couple documents and it wint take the paper . Is there a way to fix this ?

QuestionWhen I go to print #10 envelopes on my Epson ET 8500 the machine tells me to insert the CD/DVD tray. Why? I've tried using the rear feeder and the #2 paper holder. Nothing works. Nearly ready to return the printer.

- Answer Hello Mark. The ET-8500 can only print envelopes from the lower paper cassette. Since you have loaded the envelopes there, please ensure you are selecting the "Thick paper or Envelope" option from your extended settings on the computer. - Answer Hello Tway. The ET-8500 works with Epson Iron-on Cool Peel Transfer paper, which can be used with t-shirts. Please note we have not tested other brands of transfer paper with the machine. - Answer Hello Rachael. Epson uses ISO/IEC 24711 tests to determine page yield. Please note that your results can vary based on print settings, image size, paper type, etc. A new set of standard capacity T552 ink bottles can print approximately 6700 Black or 6200 Color ISO pages. - Answer I utilize a Linksys MESH and have intermittent, sometimes extremely frustrating, issues when printing from my Win11 HP Laptop. The funny thing is that I've never had an issue when printing from any of my apple devices which includes both iPhone's and iPad's. I'm still troubleshooting my issues as I had a similar issue w/ my old HP inkjet printer which was part of my reason for updating my printer. As far as the ET-8500 Tankless Printer, WE LOVE IT!
