QuestionI want to purchase this unit for my bedroom, but my window is 45 inches wide and the instructions say this can only be used in windows up to 40 inches wide. Can extra foam/installation materials be purchased to allow this to be installed on my window?

QuestionI have a couple of years older version of this air conditioner, but had to leave the drain hole open constantly to drain in a bucket. It appears this has not been rectified?

- Answer We appreciate your interest but no, this unit can't be separated for installation. You may be able to remove your window, install the air conditioner and reinstall your window.
