- Answer 5 V USB-C power input supplies additional power to connected devices (this is optional; USB-C cable not included). Plug the USB-C end of the the USB-C power cable into the USB-C (DC in) located on the front of the USB Hub and the other end into a standard USB wall charger.

QuestionIs this hub compatible with computer sleep/wake modes? If I have a mouse connected to the hub and my laptop is in sleep mode, if I move the mouse, will it wake the laptop?

- Answer I use this on my desktop and a thin client and allows me to switch my keyboard and mouse between the 2 and acts no different if they were plug directly in. But it does wake up my desktop in sleep mode and my thin client in its save/sleep mode. But love the device saves me from swapping my mouse and keyboard back and fourth from the two devices.

- Answer USB 3.0 devices are also backward compatible means. If you plug a USB 3.0 flash drive into a USB 2.0 port on your PC, it still can be readable. However, the USB 3.0 will work at the speed of the port, no matter it is port 2.0 or 3.0.
