A:AnswerThe Xbox one X Project Scorpio is a limited edition Xbox one X. Same console just comes with a vertical stand and Project Scorpio letting on the console and controller.
A:AnswerIt looks like they are shipping them depending on how far you live from the distribution center, so that you get it on November 7th. If you live next door to the place it's shipping from it will most likely ship on the 6th and the further you live, the earlier it will ship out to you.
A:AnswerYou can look up the backwards compatibility on the Microsoft website. Here's the link http://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/backward-compatibility
A:AnswerThe Project Scorpio is more of a collectors item, the differences are that the Project Scorpio is hand screen printed (will have a different texture), come with a stand to put it vertical which is for the Scorpio edition only, and of course has the custom printed controller and console.
A:AnswerI checked out your Tv's specs and it appears that it does support hdr content which is exactly what you'll need in order to get the most out of the Xbox one X. Input lag on the ku6500 is relatively low aslong as you change your settings to game mode when playing. Granted, it isn't a top tier 4k tv by any means.( mid range) Regardless, I'd say your overall experience should be pretty good.("middle of the road") If you want to get the xbox one x, I say go for it. The only way I can justify not getting the it, is not having a 4k tv at all!
A:AnswerI preordered it as well. About 40 minutes after preorders went live, the preorder option for the scorpio edition disappeared. So I assumed that if it was a glitch, my order would have been cancelled but so far nothing has happened so it seems legit. Maybe some people cancelled their preorders for the scorpio edition and there were a few extras left?
A:AnswerLike the other consoles in the Xbox One family, while you can play the console without internet you will need it to do the initial setup for the console. Additionally for the Xbox One X specifically, if you want to be able to play games in 4k, you would need to download a patch for certain Xbox One X Enhanced games.
A:AnswerMost likely after December to purchase off the shelf. You only had to preorder before the system was released on 11/7/2017. At this point, it will be sold out during the holidays. Doesn’t hurt to check Best Buy.com to order from there.
A:AnswerMine still says I'll have it delivered by November 7th and as of November 2nd I can't edit my order because it says it's being processed. I'm guessing that it will ship depending on how far away you live from the distribution center, so that you get it on November 7th.
A:AnswerOrdered mine through a competitor to BB, and I have to pick it up within 48 hours of the launch day or I lose it. I would hit all the retail outlets and ask them what they will do with unclaimed stock.
A:AnswerUsually when Best Buy puts "Coming Soon" it DOES mean that more are on the way. I wouldn't consider this a guarantee, but every time I've kept an eye on something that said "coming soon" I have seen it available again.
