• A:Answer There is a toggle button (JOG switch) which lets you enter the menu, and select the input as well as a host of other features. Can even do picture by picture and have it act as two 24.5-in 1440p monitors, without the annoying middle bezel.

Q: QuestionHello, I want to purchase this monitor to both game and do office work. Can I run excel/MS office products on this without always having to view wide-screen? If so does anyone know what i have to do to stop seeing the view as wide-screen? Thank you!!

• A:Answer You can connect a secondary DisplayPort or HDMI to your PC and enable PIP mode. This will allow you to run the single monitor as if it's 2 16x9 1440 displays in Windows. This allows you play games in full screen on one side of the display and you office apps on the other. Do note that when going into PIP mode it's a bit buggy, I have to make sure my second display cable is disconnected before swapping to PIP mode. Swap first then reinsert second cable back into your PC. Do note this disables G-sync and max refresh rate is 120hz. You could also use Fancy Zones on the display to divide your screen into preset positions, I personally love this feature, highly recommended but doesn't work with full screen applications.

• A:Answer This is by far above and beyond for gaming, if thats what your looking for then go for it. The kid will will love it. Yes you need a computer or gaming system to run anything. I suggest a quality laptop, because it can double for gaming or school or hobbies or maybe the kid will want to stwrt a business. Pair this monitor with a great laptop and you will get rhe best bang for your buck!

Q: QuestionHas anyone used this monitor for photo/video intensive editing?

• A:Answer Have not used this for video editing, though I suspect it would not perform well due to the curvature. You'll get minor distortion near the edges and the backlighting on this is not super great for editing. That's just the way it was designed, there aren't enough lighting areas across the length to get an even backlighting. For editing I would recommend you get a 4k HDR IPS monitor these will be the most color accurate. LG makes some very good ones, don't have a model number off hand.

• A:Answer Definitely depends on what game you are trying to play and if you turn down the resolution, that would significantly improve your performance. I would highly recommend nothing lower than a 2080, if you want to see the full potential of this monitor, but you can absolutely future proof yourself with this monitor.
