QuestionMy SN5127 will not dial the 10 digit phone number I programmed in the phone book. I do not have a home area code entered. It requires a “1” plus the 10 digits to properly dial call. Is there a setting required to allow 10 digit dialing?

- Answer I entered my home area code and then only programmmed 7 digits for the numbers. 10 wouldn’t work. Just an idea.

- Answer Currently being used with Comcast/Xfinity as internet, cable and phone provider. Not sure on the spam blocking. Does have the feature of blocking future calls once the number has called you.

QuestionI have 2 questions: What size photo does the button hold? Can my Dad use the photo buttons if we just leave him with the corded phone? He has dementia and will lose the cordless or hang it up in his coffee.

- Answer Yes, you can use just the photo buttons. We don't use the cordless for mom for the same reason.

- Answer Hi - Yes, the VTech SN5147 has a message alert tone feature. When it is set to on, and there is at least one new message left on the built in answering machine, the telephone base beeps every 10 seconds. Thank you, -VTech Support
