As a Total Tech member this was FREE to me. The guys who came buy were nice. Things did take a little longer than they planned...they did take some shortcuts, but this service is very worth it. At one point they didn't solve my situation as promised. Wires were exposed and looked ugly. I have to call the store a couple times, BUT ultimately they came back and fixed everything. Very worth it. My only comment, if you are not 100% happy, let them know.

Dillian from geek squad did a great job setting up my Sony surround sound system. He connected it to my tv and set it up to work from my tv remote control so when I turned on tv the receiver also came on and also the volume works from the tv remote control. He also took time to explain everything to me and made sure I understood how to work everything before leaving. He also gave me his cell number in case I had any questions.

The agents figured out which wiring was working and which wires were not needed for our sound system, They reset our configuration of our controller and made our entertainment set much easier to use. Excellent work-Very professional.

Geek squad installed my projector and audio equipment. They did a great job with the installation and the whole project came out excellent. I did have some issues with the receiver which they replaced free of charge. The one down side is that the techs who came to do the replacement refused to do the reprogramming of the universal remote that was done with with the defective unit. They said they didn't have time to complete the work, even though it only took a few minutes. Overall the experience was amazing.

My Geek Squad “Guru”, Kai Scott, was terrific! Communicated nicely and arrived as scheduled. He proceeded with the evaluation of my equipment and installation of my new AV Amp with complete explanation of what he was doing. He made setting adjustments according to my needs, and then reviewed how to make further adjustments if I wanted to do so. Setting up my full surround sound experience was perfect. Thanks Kai!

December 14, 2020: Two Best Buy Geek Squad members, Giovanni and Steve, came by at 4:00 pm and installed the new Sony STR-DH590 receiver. They hooked everything up, replaced the wiring on one of the Bose surrounds, cleaned up any mess, and took the old Pioneer receiver with them to be recycled—because it did not work properly, I did not want it, anyway. They were here for about an hour, and it only cost $129.99. I would definitely use the Geek Squad again. Great job!

Bought a new TV and the excisting surround sound Onkyo receiver had a thermal error since Covid but worked fine. Nicole & Robert recommended a Denon which they went to Best Buy (less than a mile away) to get, billed remotely and installed. Because of a Comcast problem needing a new cable box in the middle of this, Nicole returned later to ensure the cable box resolved the surround sound issue and answer any questions. So pleased.
