This review covers the GEEK SQUAD set-up of my Sony 75" Class - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV with High Dynamic Range, a Yamaha AVENTAGE 7.2-Ch. 4K Ultra HD A/V Home Theater Receiver, a Klipsch Reference Premiere home theater surround sound system, the Harmony Elite Advanced remote programming and the calibration of my TV. First, I’d just like to say “Thank You” to Dakota, Derek, Dustin and the only guy whose name didn’t start with a “D”……Nephi. These gentlemen were amazing and they really knew their stuff!! The installation, programming and calibration of the TV required these gentlemen to show up on three separate occasions. They always arrived on time, were highly professional and did an amazing job!!!.

A few months ago we purchased a lot of new equipment for our entertainment and a universal remote was one of them. Though we are reasonably tech savvy, the Best Buy installers were already going to be in our home to install everything else...so why not include the remote. Though each item that they install is an additional charge (which sadly does add up) for the remote it was well worth it. Even after they set it up, they ended up having to come back to do it again because it stopped connecting.

I cant stress enough how happy and content I was after Chris from Geek squad set up my harmony controller to work with my Alexa. I tried for days and got so frustrated, I just couldn't get everything to work together. Phillip's hue, honeywell thermostat and my tv/surround system are all working with simple commands to Alexa and or my Harmony remote. Thanks Geek squad, you made my daily TV activities much funner! I would recommend this to anyone who wants a simple and convenient set up! Thanks Chris.

The Geek Squad recommended an upgraded remote for our set up since were keeping our existing CD player and Integra. (We had purchased a less expensive LogitechEc remote that had less functionality.) These devices needed “blaaters” so that they could be activated with the single remote. They even made a second trip to program the upgraded remote. The upgrade has been well worth it!

The Geek Squad programmed my Harmony remote during the initial installation of my new entertainment room. The remote can control everything. As such, I found it confusing. I'm not real tech savvy. However, I just call Best Buy support when I have questions. They even sent a representative back to my house to program the remote to be more simplistic for me.

The Harmony Remote programming is not for the weak techno-geek. I purchased one of these remotes a couple of years ago and returned it. I could not figure it out on my own. Now that I purchased a new TV and included this remote in my purchase, the Geek Squad programmed it for me in record time. And it works! Wouldn't buy one without the programming service again!

My Logi remote is able to control most of my system. I still need to use my receiver remote to control my Zone 2 wireless headphones, but the Logi remote control does everything else--receiver, TV, blue ray, cable box. I especially appreciate the help function of the remote! It easily puts things together if I have "messed up".

Yes the extra cost is worth it! And we are handy, but decided the cost (reasonable not cheap) was worth the time we would have spent hiding the cables in the wall, hooking up AV system, and programming. Plus the guys trained us and showed us tricks that we would have not taken the time to investigate. Well worth using Geek Squad.

The technician was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. It might have been possible for me to install and program the Harmony device, but it would have taken hours of experimenting and frustration. The Geek Squad made everything painless and made sure it understood the operation of the device. Definitely good value for the cost.

I upgraded and replaced my Harmony remote control for a newer one version and it programmed and performed like a charm. It can Handle up to 10 appliances and so, far I have 5 that can be conveniently operated with one remote. So, far my karaoke microphone is back in business and good use.

Programming remotes or anything is not our cup of tea. Geek Squad did everything, explained how to operate and never made us feel like an idiot. They are more than happy to help and take as long ad necessary for you to feel comfortable. Customer service is remarkable!

I was so tired of having so many remotes laying around and trying to keep track them. We decided to get the Harmony universal remote so it could be programmed to handle all devices. Love the fact that only 1 remote is necessary. Less confusing and easier for family members to use.

The one competent member of the Geek Squad reprogrammed our Harmony remote to operate all of our video and audio devices. It works OK, but is not as smooth and efficient as the original Harmony programming. However, programming these remotes is time consuming and very frustrating. Therefore, I am happy to have had the work done.

Tony, from the Geek Squad, programmed our Logitech Remote to seamlessly manage our devices and subscription services. Rather than fumbling with several remotes we now have one universal remote - that gives us more time to enjoy our TV. Thanks Tony!

The Geek Squad setup and programmed our Logitech all in one remote. It worked great until DirecTV did a software update. Now we have to use DirecTV's remote to channel surf, record, or doing anything else with them. The Logitech remote powers on and off the system with a moderate amount of effort.

the serviceman was very competent, patient and professional in hooking my tv into the new universal remote controller I'd also purchased at Best Buy. The system works great now. Made my life a lot simpler to have him do it quickly and efficiently!

Our installer set up our new 4k HDTV then blended in the new remote to all the other components, ! I would have been pulling my hair out but Kirk did it with minimal problems. He made sure I new the total operations before leaving !!!

The tech flawlessly and effortlessly set up a new universal remote that had to be programmed. It was part of a total home audio system and he did a fantastic job. Geek squad knows their stuff! Don’t hesitate to call them!

Geek Squad came to install my new tv, remote and programmed my remote. They programmed all my components into the remote and made it simple for me to use and explained everything before they left. Excellent job.

I have been purchasing electronics for many years from many vendors. It is an absolute no-brainer to purchase from Best Buy/Geek Squad. I buy with confidence, knowing the Geeks are are always there when needed.
