So far so good with this little printer. It had everything we were looking for at a great price, on sale for $50. At first I couldn't get my laptop to connect to it wirelessly, but after rebooting our router everything came together. Prints like a champ, good quality prints, and you can't beat the price for the ink. I wish the paper tray held more paper, but that's not a big deal. Overall, a great printer for a great price.

I actually purchased this printer on the recommendation of a salesman at a company that sells continuous ink systems. So I purchased the CIS when I bought the printer, but much to my pleasant surprise, I didn't have to install the system for months because the deceptively tiny little cartridges that came with the printer, have lasted for ages. I refilled the black once, but the original color cartridges lasted were still printing fine after several months. The printer is quiet, rarely jams, and does a very good job of printing. Setting up all our devices to print wirelessly was a snap. Even if I hadn't bought this specifically to install continuous ink, I would still recommend it. The cartridges are a fraction of the price of HP and Canon, which is what all my previous printers have been. (I have a whole "graveyard" full of printers in the basement.) With multiple kids in college, we are fairly heavy printer users. Best printer value imaginable for $50 (on sale).

This all-in-one is replacing my old HP 1500 series all-in-one. After 9 years it finally bit the dust. This Brother MFC-J475 picked up where the HP left off without a sweat. Actually, it exceeded my expectations and performs very well with clear crisp printing, great scanning abilities, and is reliable. I recommend this all-in-one to anyone who needs an inexpensive hard working machine.

I am liking this printer a lot. I bought it to replace my HP 4600, which was driving me crazy. (Took forever to warm up, touch screen didn't always respond, if I left it on overnight there would be a pile of blank paprer on the floor in the morning, went broke buying ink.) Initially I had trouble installing this Brother, but a call to their tech support brought a helpful call-back the next morning. Here are the things I especially like about this printer: seperate cartidges for each ink color; great sleep mode - it fires up as soon as I hit PRINT; push buttons instead of that awful touch screen HP had; fast copy option to save ink. My only complaint so far is the way the paper tray slides out - you either have to take the whole thing out to refill, or leave it kind of hanging there and open the top part way to add paper. Not that big a deal, though. Overall I'm very happy with this printer so far, and would recomend it. I would give it 4 and 1/2 stars, only because of the paper tray.

I'm so impressed with this printer. I bought it because I switched to Mac and my old printer refused to print from it in any way that was big enough to actually see, and I'm so glad I did. The setup was ridiculously easy with my Mac and it printed perfectly right away. I use it over wi-fi without any issues whatsoever. The scanning works really well too.

This printer replaced my 10 years old HP all-in-one. It is not as quiet as the old one, but much faster and I like the two-sided print option. The print quality is very good, although I didn't print any photos yet. Ink economy is excellent. Paper tray should be improved upon, it is bothersome when printing one envelope - paper has to be taken out and replaced by an envelope. Also, the paper tray seems to be constucted rather flimsy. The software download was easy and flawless using USB port. Found out that the ink cartridges have an expiration date and since I do not use the printer every day, it may be a problem. Like the display showing status of the ink, very convenient. So far, I like this printer and would recommend it for home/home office users.

Color is very good and I prefer to have 3 color cartridges rather than just one with all colors in it. I like the auto off and on feature. I like to print cards and having to take the tray out to load cards rather than being able to just slip the card in is rather bothersome but the print quality is very good so I will adjust. I connected it directly to my desktop but have it setup to work wireless with a laptop. The setup was easy to do. Scanner works well on its own and with Photoshop Elements. Some reviews said it was noisy but I don't find it any louder than any other printer I've ever had. Great buy for the price.

Excellent price for an All-in-1 printer, and took maybe less than 10 minutes to fully set up and get going. I did not set up access to the printer using USB, only wireless/wifi, so I cannot comment on that aspect of the printer. However, the printer has been easily accessible in my home wireless network, so it is perfect on that front.

I have owned one of the big name brand printers for al,lst a decade. I wanted to upgrade to a Wi-Fi capable printer, did some research, and decided that the Brother printers were worth looking into. I like that third party ink cartridges are available for a really reasonable price. I also like the ability to change 1 of the 4 cartridges at a time. Best Buy helped me make the decision when they dropped the price below $60. This printer was easy to set up, prints very fast, and easily integrated with my wireless devices. For now, I am very happy with the purchase.

This printer just flat out works. Set up was easy enough. There was a lot of software to install because of all the devices of hooked up to the printer. The printer wakes up from sleep whenever I print something wirelessly. I've connected every wireless device in the house to the printer and all of them work with this printer (Vista laptop, Windows 7 laptop, Windows 8 laptop, Galaxy tab 2 7.0, Galaxy tab 3 7.0, Galaxy tab 4 10.1, Galaxy S4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5). The ink if decently priced. The price is even better if you buy refills. I've found 10 cartridges for around $20. Two sided printing is a breeze with this printer. It'll flip the pages on its own. It's also very quiet compared to my old lexmark. I mainly use this printer to print documents for work. The color isn't as vibrant as other printers, but it gets the job done. I've printed photos and they come out with a dull look to it, but the are passable. Then again, if I wanted professional quality photo printer, I would have bought one.

The Brother MFC-J475DW Wireless Printer is the best home printer I have ever owned. Great print quality and I like the 2-sided printing option. I have not used the fax option, but printing, copying and scanning all work fine. I am still using the original ink that came with the printer - this printer is NOT an ink hog. I would recommend this printer - good price, nice options and quality. I like that this printer is wireless - very convenient to use.

Purchase price, ease of set-up, features & flexibility, and the cost of replacement ink are definite positives for this printer! I had no problem with wireless set-up from 2 very different laptops and an Android tablet - it was easy and flawless! The directions for set-up are a bit too much the programmers delight - if/then/else - but it works OK. The whole thing is plastic - what do you want for under $100? And it is not the greatest photo printer (no surprise @ this price). But, for this price, it gives you copy/fax and easy 2-sided prints. What more could you want!? We love it!

The print quality and speed are excellent. I can't believe it only cost about 70.00. I have owned at least 20 printers and this is the least expensive yet it produces some of the best and quickest prints. I love that the printer is wireless and that my computers paired with it instantly. If you need a very inexpensive and reliable printer I highly recommend this printer.
