Not happy with the Geek Squad Service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The agent didn't have enough wire to install the Antenna and wanted to R/S, and said the job requirement was for 3 hours not 1 hour. I was charged for only 1 hour of labor, I explained to agent that was not my fault. Agent also said for this kind of job a survey of the home should of been done. I told him if you knew a survey wasn't done why didn't he fellow up with his client and not wait til the last minute. I was upset so he asked his co-worker take one of his appointments so he could go to the warehouse and get more cable to complete my service. On of the fire TV stick was not install properly. My experience with the Geek Squad was not a pleasant one. I will not hire them for another installation.

In order to correct this problem Mr. Matthew Leshinsky will come to my home on Wednesday June 2 and personally correct this problem.

Not happy with this order

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The TVs were mounted but, rather than tell me that I needed longer HDMIs, he left my set top box hanging from the wall. I had to take the TV down to put in new HDMIs. Also, he couldn't mount the antenna and was going to ask someone's advice. I emailed him some ideas, but didn't hear back from him. Ten days later I canceled my Cord Cutter order. He finally replied a couple days after I cancelled and told me that the advisor was unavailable due to an injury. That's understandable but don't leave me hanging for two weeks! It's not difficult to reply to an email! Lastly, he told me that he couldn't put an antenna where I wanted the TV. That wall is perfect for a TV, so I will take the TV down and mount it where I wanted it in the first place. I, of no "expertise" and crippled, will figure out how to mount an antenna there because that wall is too perfect for a home theater, which I will install myself or hire someone who knows what they're doing to install. My previous review was posted to get points and was written before I noticed the box hanging out of the wall. As people, I really liked the Geek Squad guys, but I question their expertise and willingness to do what is requested.

Halfway installed

Also they did not deliver one of the remotes that I paid for. I put a call into our sales person Mara after holding on a call for 16 minutes and have not heard back from her. My next move will be to dispute my credit card charges for this. People need to do their jobs. Very poor.

Additionally, installer was not equipped to try additional locations since he had no availability to go beyond short area for electrical connection to power the amplified antenna signal (no temporary extension cord was available for testing). End result was the installer was simply asked to mount the antenna so it was not left on attic floor Adjacent to A/C unit which resulted in no broadcast signals detected for use.

Incomplete Service

They said they had to leave to clockout, without ever finishing the job! Why don't you allow them to complete their work?!

Cube installed at inconvenient location

Had to call him later to find out why we couldnt turn it on and he said had to open door

Once you make your purchase there is no turning back. Your phone calls are not returned. Just about impossible to gain any support with your purchase.
