This is the 2nd one I've bought, the 1st one worked and saved me thousands when it knocked the surge unit out instead of all my electronics I had plugged into it.

This is the an excellent back up battery. I have purchased this same brand previously and it has saved me a number of times when the electricity goes out in my townhouse.

Initially, i just got a regular surge protector for my new IMac 5K. For an extra $35, i brought the surge protector back and exchanged it for the battery backup which isn't even the cheapest model they have. Works great. Don't have to worry about a power outage, surge, brownout or anything messing up my computer in the electricity sense. It even integrates with my IMac that it realizes when theres no power and will turn itself off as i set it to. Integrates with Apple OS X so that i can set it to turn itself off if I'm not home and i dont have to worry about physically being there to manually shut my computer down. Its pretty much fully automated, as long as you go into system preferences>energy saver and set it from there. No 3rd party software to install, which is great since its literally integrated into my mac's operating system. this is a can't go wrong item. For a relatively cheap amount of money, not only do i have surge protection but i have a battery that will keep my computer going and possibly keep it from being damaged by a black or brown-out. Love the integration with apple's operating system.

This is my third battery backup. Couldn't ask for more. They give me enough time to save any work in progress during power failures and provide surge protection when the power is on. Unit also provides a convenient way to plug all components into one central unit.

using to backup my satellite tv access with DVR, 40 inch Plasma TV, and it does the job, I've had good experience with the cyberpower brand, I also use a 1000 va unit for my desktop, with a 19 in monitor and high speed internet access modem; and a 825 va is on my wife's desktop. I've had good success with cyberpower, much better than with the brand I had before a. p. c . My previous cyberpower units did great for 5 years, much longer than the other brand. My home is equipped with a 20KW backup generator, so, these units give time for the generator to get started & auto connect, this is main reason I have a ups on my sat. tv system, otherwise, if the power blinks during a program, or while dvr is recording the satellite tv has to reboot itself & do the self check .

Excellent protection for a desktop and monitor. The unit is a little lighter than an APC brand, but still works good.

Easy to use, outlets clearly labeled for battery backup or surge protection only (and nice they were grouped together on one side or the other of the unit). Made sure unit was charged for about 8 hours. Was able to stand up on end so it would fit better in my space.
Expect this unit to last as long as the one it replaced (about 7.5 years).

Good size and out performed similar APC unit in time to battery out of power test lasting much longer. I was quite surprised by the battery time. Also like ability to turn off alarm not available in other units.

We use these to protect all the computers at our business along with the phone system. We also use them at home on the computer, router, and TV's. They work great for power surge protection, brown outs, and provide at least thirty minutes of power during outages.

I have used CyberPower in the past and the brand is reliable as I am being a computer person. I like how it you can run a self test to make sure the surge protector is running correctly. I did take a look at what devices I was going to be using and this definitely fit the bill.

Does the Job and Excellent Socket Spacing

I have been using a competitor's back-up system that has sockets that are too close to each other to accommodate some of my device's plugs. When it needed to be replaced, I decided to try the, "CyberPower - 650VA Battery Back-Up System" because of its' socket spacing. It works as well as the competitor's product, and has socket placements that better suit my system. It had its' capabilities tested a couple of times since it was installed and worked perfectly. Thus, a 5 stars rating so far. The only question I still have is will it last as long as its' predecessor? If it doesn't, I will revise my rating.

This is an inexpensive UPS I picked up for a client. However I use UPSs for my TV, Game Consoles etc. The battery backup is great for power blinks and the surge arrest feature beats a cheap outllet strip any day.

I purchased this for a battery backup for the pump on my aquarium. However it should be noted that if you plug anything into it on the battery side that is above the rated current it will beep and scream until it is disconnected. My aquarium plc controller during a power outage shuts down everything except the pump, so this unit would have worked however because the controller consumes more than this unit can power during a power outage it simply cannot handle it. Be warned, if you plug something into this unit expecting it to provide 2 or 3 seconds of run time it will not preform. Something like a high amperage tv for instance. With that in mind this unit performs very well with everything else, and i'm sure it will continue to into the future.
