I have always gotten excellent service. I have always had my questions answered. The data recovery wasn't as successful as I would have hoped. It was beyond repair. But they kept me informed throughout the whole process. I really appreciated that. I only wish they could have recovered my data, but it was a hard lesson learned. Keep your info backed up!!!

Good computer, but the HP Welcome pop up keeps coming up during use, constantly, every several minutes. The Geek Squad tried to fix, but it still continues.

My external hard drive stopped working and I needed to see if they could recover any data from it, since it had ALL of my digital files. Despite all of their attempts, they were unable to do so, but it was worth the money and effort to get a definitive answer.

My external hard drive got corrupted and they were able to recover all my files, pictures, videos, etc!

I appreciate all that is being done to retrieve data from my HP Netbook when the hard drive had problems. I do not have it back yet, but the person who worked with me was knowledgeable and walked me through areas that could be salvaged, which helped me make a next-step decision. I also contacted the Geek Squad when I had some issues with getting into the Internet on my new laptop and they resolved the problem in minutes. Greatly appreciated.

I still don't have my computer recovery completed after several weeks, and have been told it will be another MONTH or so until it is. The price I have been quoted to recover just the documents and photo files was outrageous, and they demanded a large deposit. Both the counter personnel and the person who finally called to tell me when we would see some results were rude. We are repeat Geek Squad customers, but this is the last time we will use your services, as our last 3 encounters have been horrific. Is that clear and concise enough for you?

Worst service ever, dont use them. No matter what they will alway tell you to use their hihest and mose expensove tier to recover your files...

Being a past IT professional (back in the 90's) I didn't know data could be restored following a hard drive crash. But....thanks to "Bradley" of Geek Squad and the team in Kentucky my data was restored to a new external device and 25 years of banking data was saved. I had an external back up drive (that I purchased from Best Buy) but it failed when really needed it. Data was stored to a new drive and I am a happy girl.

Had my desktop HD crash on me. Best Buy tried to recover but could not. They sent it out to a service center that said they could retrieve most of the date. Got it back after a very pricey fee. Retrieved about 60% of all data.

Got what I ask for, but was told that I would have in 2 weeks and it ended up being 5 weeks and after many phone calls

This was a bad experience for me. The locals were accommodating, polite, and tried very hard to recover my crashed hard drive. Ended up sending it to Best Buy headquarters for a couple of weeks and still was unable to recover the information of my hard drive.
