    Advise to anyone taking your apple products or any device in for repair. Save yourself the aggravation and time. The lie to lure you in, I scheduled the repair on IPhone a week in advance to give plenty of time to order the parts and they wanted to keep my phone for 3 days for the repair. Also, they tried to changer (steal) my card $300.00. Avoid them at all cost, they don’t have honest business practices.

    WARNING. do not use Geek Squad. They are the worst! They came to install a frame TV and did not know what they were doing resulting in a disaster. When I asked them to fix it they responded " we are only responsible to hang it". Wires are handing from tv, the tv is crooked and leaning away from the wall.

    Terrible customer service! I made an initial appointment for all of my appliances. Then the day of, they told me it was only going to be just 1. I had to call again to set up another appointment for the other appliances. Then the day of, 2 of the 3 people showed up. The first guy was rude and argumentative. The second guy was fine. The 3rd guy never showed up!!! No call, no email, no text. I called Geek Squad and they gave me the run around! I have now taken 2 days off of work and the one day I have off they refuse to come out. It's terrible customer service!!!

    No help in replacing faulty equipment

    We paid $2K for a high performance Starlink System to be delivered and installed. The installing technician said that hardware was faulty so I'm not getting signal. It's been weeks. We call/email/chat nearly every day - no resolution. We've been told 1) it's under review, 2) you uninstall the system (even though we paid for delivery and installation) and bring it back to Best Buy (1 1/2 hour drive each way and the receiver is on the roof [I'm 72]). and 3) we don't have a replacement in our system. Very very frustrating.

    Geek Squad is a scam offered by Best Buy to squeeze money without providing good service. If I could provide a negative eview I would. Geek Squad offers nice words when they are signing you up and taking your money but when it comes time to provide the service, they have only excuses and rediculous timeframes to fix the problem(s). The number of negative reviews should alert you to how bad this service is and how little Best Buy cares. I don't know if other stores are different but the folks in Leominster should move on, as this assignment is really not working for them or anyone else.

    Marketing Gimmick; Not Worth Time or Money

    I cannot recommend to anyone to ever give their PC diagnostic services any chances since they have handed built computers back to me in pieces. Done sloppy work and even forgotten to plug in wires to an AIO that almost melted down a $3,000 build with parts bought from them. Further when I asked for a moment to speak with a Geek to make sure I was picking the right parts counter help acted like gate keepers. I ended up choosing the wrong parts. Please don't trust counter help they helped me select a $600 processor that had a meltdown four months later (Intel i14900k). Same person would not let me ask questions, seek help about verbage for RMA to Intel and even cut off my ability to buy a replacement just to get by when college started the next day. As an added bonus that Associate called me names and ganged up with hisanager on me. Not nice to do to a young woman. I never got a refund for my Total Tech they cancelled. Their automotive side does however does actually do decent work and has installed a few things. While their Total Tech package no longer includes free auto installs it was nice while it lasted. Not all stores are horrible just ones in Kentucky in particular.

    Computer geeks were supposed to be here between 10-2. It’s now 3:55 an no one has shown up or sent a message. Geeks phone number provided and he didn’t answer. Speaking with outsourced customer service from SOUTH EAST ASIA is ridiculous. Reading these reviews, I will never purchase from Best Buy.

    Many transfers, no resolution.

    This was the worst customer experience I have ever had. I get Trend Micro through Best Buy, however though it automatically renewed (I confirmed the money had been taken from my account), my Trend Micro Internet Security resolutely said my protection expired and so would not work. I called on Wednesday. Spoke to 1 agent, they put me through to another department, who put me through to another department, who told me I had to go into my local store. Each time I had to explain the issue all over again, and each time they would brightly tell me that my subscription was active. Time spent 1-2 hours. Thursday = Went into my local Best Buy, spoke to an agent and a manager. They told me they could not resolve the issue or refund the money and I had to speak to Trend Micro. Called Trend Micro, spoke to 2 agents, who said they could not refund the money, that according to what they saw that my subscription was inactive and said only Best Buy could resolve the issue. Tried using the online service, the agent redownloaded Trend Micro (which I had already done) and then told to me call accounting. I called accounting who transferred me to someone else, who then transferred me to someone else! They then said they would send me a new serial number for my product within 24 hours. Time spent 5 hours. Monday = No sign of any email. Called Geek Squad, the first agent said they could not help me and would transfer me to subscriptions, subscriptions said they could not issue a new serial number and transferred me to accounting, accounting said they could not help me, and had to transfer me to another department. At this point I was done, and my wife took over. They never did resolve the issue, but we should be getting a refund and an email confirming this (though as things stand neither have occurred, and I have lost my faith in them actually following through on any thing they promise). Summary = Several days of people telling me things I already knew (like my subscription was active so the product should be working), constantly being transferred, each new transfer meaning I had to restart the whole process again (as no one appears to read/leave call notes), and with no one following through on promises made. I have worked in customer service and know that this is the exact opposite of good customer service.

    Very dissatisfied with service - agent came out and could not complete service, received call and scheduled follow up, on day of service, agent called to discuss issue and said he would have some else call me I have tried 4 times to reach person on phone to reschedule but have not had any success. Will find someone else to assist with technical problems!

    Horrible service and experience. They make you wait hours in the store even if you have an appt and then when they are overwhelmed with people no one in their stores wants to help. All I needed to do was pay for a service that anyone could have helped with and then a paid for pickup and no one in the store out of ten people standing around doing would help. DO NOT USE THESE FOLKS! Use Apple or anyone else.

    Geekeek Squad is by far the most agonizing service I have spent hours and hours trying to get service only to find that they have caused another problem. When they can't fix remotely, they want to send at a tech to your home for $99.09 even though I have the Geek Squad contract. I coud write a book about h ow bad service is remotely and in the store. I will not be renewing again. I don't have enough life time left to spend hours on the phone only to find out my equipment still doen't function as it should.

    Paying Geek Squad is useless if you ever need it. They'll send you a replacement device broken and will charge you, claiming the damage was your fault. Additionally, the customer service is horrendous. I had to call them a many times and there`s always a problem with the system. They sent 2 devices which was already defective. Now I have a garbage cell phone that is now working properly and they are asking me to send it again pay a $700 security deposit to give me another one. I lost so many hours trying to solve the problem and nothing. RUN AWAY!!!

    The Greek squad/service department sucks!

    We bought a whirlpool dryer a year ago. It stopped heating up, so we called to have it fixed (we looked up what it might be, the were only 2 possibilities). This was over 3 weeks ago! Service squad can't out over a week ago, and left saying they'd be back in a week. The appointment came and went. We called, they said the part wasn't in. I wrote a review, they called to say they'd be out the next day. That appointment came and went, the guy texted me saying he was waiting to hear from the service department. "Could be 48-72 hours." That can't and went. My husband bought the pay on Amazon, installed it last night, works fine. Still haven't heard from the service department. We're almost a month in now. I get that best buy looks like a good deal, there service department sucks and there's no one who cares enough to make sure your appliance gets fixed. They just say sorry. Don't go through them. I miss Sears!

    An absolute waste of money. Our ice maker quit working, and I have called numerous times since MARCH 11TH to set up a repair. It is now MAY 5TH, and have heard NOTHING. Each time I call, I'm told the case is getting escalated and I'll hear from someone within six hours...yeahhhhh...hasnt happened. So disappointed. Will not be renewing my BB plus membership, and certainly wont purchase another extended warranty.

    Geek Squad-worst decision ever.

    Was sent here for phone battery replacement, took over an hour for paperwork. Then broke my phone and had to send off for a replacement (and employee was rude). It's been 3 weeks now and still no call that it's in (it's 45 min. drive so I can't just drop in) and no cell phone. You can't call the location direct and no one at customer service can tell me if it's in. Also charged me $75 for battery replacement and won't refund. We were going to get my husband's done at the same time and had paid but since they messed mine up we backed out. Still no refund so I had to dispute through my credit card company. I've been on the phone and chat with customer service at least 3 times just today (20-30 min each) and still no one that can tell me if the phone is in or give a refund for services that were never completed. Their excuse was that I should be happy I was getting a new phone....(but my phone was fine, didn't need a new phone). Worst decision ever.

    Geek Squad scheduling is a nightmare.

    I bought a tv, tv mount, and other accessories and scheduled an appointment to get it all installed today. Got messages that they would be here initially between 7am and 7 pm. Then yesterday I received a text that the window was from 1-4pm. At 3:47, I started a chat with Geek Squad to get an eta on the installer. Person said they would be here between 1&5om. It’s 5:22pm and no call and no installer. Then I get a message from Best Buy saying that I need to schedule my appointment for installation. So I called and speak with a representative and they said we see no appointment scheduled for you at all. You need to schedule a new appointment. I have no idea what’s going on with this company but I wish I would’ve found a local handyman to do all of this work. Because I’m wasting my time waiting on geek squad and Best Buy to install this on the wall. I recommend just finding a local handyman instead of dealing with geek squad. And I’m still waiting on this TV to get mounted. SMH. For $299 it seems that they could get scheduling right and not have all these mishaps. Never again.

    Never again will I buy from Best Buy. I purchased a range and was given a Saturday delivery between 3pm and 7pm. I stayed home on a saturday night and waited, I Called at 6 pm for an update and was told they had 1 more stop before me. By 8;30 no one had showed up and not even the courtesy of a phone call! I called them Monday morning and after waiting an hour I finally reached someone. They were useless. I am on my way to buy the same range at the same place from Home Depot. No more best buy from me.

    Set up appointment with geek squad. Received confirmation text for the 28th of January from 0730-1130. Took off work and they never showed. Called, no apology or attempt to make it right, just kept saying JT wasn’t in their system. No ownership. DONT USE

    high quality of service if you can wait forever. Reported a problem which resulted from installing Webroot. Was given an appointment for three days later. Mind you, the so called appointment is to drop off the PC. once dropped, and three days later still, no computer. It is too bad because online, you wait a little and the issue gets resolved within four hours. But taking the computer to a Best Buy repairs is bad. this will be my last year with Geek Squad. Swithing to an Apple.

    The agents in the store are great. Online totally terrible. I tried 4 times and they did nothing for me. No customer service, you can't talk to anyone. Hate it. I actually fixed my own problem by googling and alot of trail and error.
