Works well with XBOX Series X; however, it does not have 4K resolution or HDMI 2.1 compatible inputs. The full 34-inch screen is not viewable at the highest available resolution on XBOX. It is a high quality build but lacks the functions that are desired for most XBOX gamers.

I have an NVIDA 4070 Ti Super GPU and this display is only offering me 100 hz refresh rate. Product specs said it does 165 hz. Not happy. I have a 24" Omen also at 1440 resolution and that one gives me 144 hz on the same HDMI cable.

I left the monitor on the carpet and it literally lost balance and tripped to the front and the screen broke .. I believe it should be stronger

The HP Omen 34c is a pretty nice chunk of desktop real estate! The resolution seems to be perfectly suited to the monitor's size and colors and clarity are pretty good right out of the box. I fiddled around with the menus a bit and found the "T" style buttons to be very easy to use. The layout allows easy configuration without trying to figure out which button is "Save" and which is "Back" like some monitors are still using. I had to remove a small light I had on my desk above my old monitor just to fit this beast under the shelf. It has about 3/8" above it when in its lowest setting! Having two HDMI and a DisplayPort socket allows a wide range of devices to be connected and is an easy switch using the above-mentioned buttons. I replaced a curved display that took me a while to get used to, but this one seems like the next logical step in monitors from the previous one. The wide display allows a very immersive game experience and the high refresh rate keeps things very clear, even in the middle of action sequences. When using regular applications (yes, I do have to do real work once in a while), the huge screen can have two high-resolution windows open side by side and doesn't feel cramped at all. I played around with the HDR setting and found it to add a bit of brightness at just the right times, unlike some other models I have tried where the colors and objects seem washed out and over-brightened. The image doesn't bleed out at the edges or loose any quality in any part of the display, despite the large size and curve. I am very happy with this monitor, and can already imagine a second (or third) one allowing truly wrap-around gaming experiences! I had two of my young grandsons over today and they were excited to play several driving games on it since they say it looks so real! This resolution allows a full view of the action as if they are looking through a windshield in a real car, instead fo half of one like most monitors allow. The days of flat, "small" monitors are going to be a thing of the past if more and more of these kind of gems are produced. Years ago, I would have laughed if someone said I would have a weird shaped, curved monitor like this some day. Today, I have a hard time going back to even my flat 4K screen on my main work computer. The shape of this screen is truly useful, even if you don't do any gaming at all... but you would be hard-pressed to keep yourself from playing at least a little bit! The more i use it, the more comfortable I get with looking back and forth, and the quality of the image is very easy on the eyes!

If you have an Nvidia card stay away, this will not go above 100HZ without having an ADM card.

The HP OMEN 34c monitor is a happy medium between your standard monitor and the high end gaming monitors that are available on the market. The monitor itself feels lightweight for the size and takes up a decent amount of desk space. Being a landscape style monitor, the 34” diagonal length is a width of almost 32”. Keep this in mind when purchasing as it is a slightly elongated landscape design to accompany gaming well. The “c” in the model name stands for curved. This is my first experience using a curved monitor/screen and I love the feel. The curve allows for better peripheral vision of the screen without as much movement of the eye while playing. It also provides a more immersive feeling atmosphere to the display. I’ve had a flat 3-monitor setup in the past and this monitor in a 3-monitor setup would be elite in comparison, wrapping around. The monitor itself was easy setup out of the box and comes with a monitor stand; it does look compatible with standard monitor stands also. The stand allows for varying height and tilt to allow for proper desk ergonomics. The display is bright and overall smooth. With 2 HDMI ports and 1 display port, the monitor is able to accommodate most visual setup needs. I typically play either shooters or MMORPGs and with a 165Hz refresh rate I feel comfortable with the ability of this display. There is no noticeable delay for myself and the visualization of my games feels smooth without any image distortion noted. The images are crisp with the 3440 x 1440 resolution and I always get reminded how far we have come in display within the past 10-15 years. I did have to mess with the resolution of my favorite MMORPG to get the display right, but after some trial and error got it looking beautiful (every computer or laptop I have ever used will have issues with this certain game). And otherwise, back to the enjoyment of the curve. The one downfall to this monitor (and truthfully almost every monitor I have used within the past few years) is the built-in speakers. The sound quality is OK for being a monitor. Most gamers either over the ear headphones or an immersive surround sound setup and this monitor does not compare. With that being said, the sound is okay, and if was to use this for another reason and just need available sound without any speaker setup, it does the job. This is my second OMEN line product and based upon this monitor I would not be opposed by any means to keep with their products in the future if the item is right

Owned the monitor for a few days the colors are nice and bright but absolute horrible with hdr also all the dark blacks were ghosting constantly it gave me a terrible headache to play Diablo or naraka bladepoint the shadows on the leaf were killing my eye sight I tried downloading software, firmware and ran the omen software all garbage didn’t improved anything
