I was looking to get into a 1440p monitor and had been waiting for sales on a quality brand. When this went on sale I had a gift card I was able to use to cover 95% of the cost. It makes a HUGE difference over my previous 1080p monitor. It's not that the monitor I had before was bad but the color, sharpness, and HDR quality is way better on this LG. When fine-tuning this monitor with the AMD adrenaline softw the colors aren't over saturated but they are also not washed out. BF6 looks amazing on it. As do my emulated games. The hunter call of the wild is another title that looks just awesome on this LG. The high detail of the world in Call of the wild really popps with this monitor.

If your a competitive gamer , for the ps5 this monitor's Hdmi 2.0 makes Fps games picture break , sometimes split image in half . The QHD monitor edge lighting looks better than the 4K Version . Dont recommend for ps5 Console . They needed hdmi 2.1 to make this monitor a 5star .

Absolutely loving this LG UltraGear 27” QHD monitor! The picture quality is sharp and vibrant thanks to the IPS panel, and the 200Hz refresh rate makes gaming incredibly smooth. Colors look great with HDR400, and the overall build quality feels premium. Setup was easy, and it works perfectly with both HDMI and DisplayPort. Great value for a high-performance gaming monitor — highly recommended!

Great monitor, upgraded to this from a 60hz acer monitor, I’m running a 5070ti and this monitor compliments the power of the 5070ti very well.

I really enjoy this monitor. Good colors, refresh rate, response. It feels really nice. Unfortunately, I've owned it less than 35 days and it has a dead pixel near the middle of the screen.

The LG UltraGear 27" IPS (In-Plane Switching) QHD (Quad HD) 2560 x1440 pixels, 200Hz Refresh Rate, with low-ghosting, reduced blur 1ms gray to gray response time Gaming Monitor Model 27G610A-B presents a clear, vibrant picture with 400 nit / candela to square meter brightness, 1000:1 (brightest white to darkest black) contrast with 8 to 10 bit color offering 1.07 billion total colors and 1,024 shades per channel provide smooth color gradients and less banding with a wide 99% sRGB (Standard RGB) accurate color coverage / gamut. This monitor supports HDR 10, which is the most common High Dynamic Range video standard used by 4K Blu-rays and HDR TV and streaming services. In order to achieve the best specifications for the 27G610A-B, you must have a higher end graphic card that can push this monitor to its best. I am using an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPU. When using the DisplayPort cable supplied with the monitor the Refresh Rate meets the full 200Hz. If I were to use an HDMI 2.1 cable instead, then my Refresh Rate would only run at 144Hz. The equipment matters. LG has added numerous other features that enhance what may seem to some as basic gaming monitor. It supports AMD FreeSync Premium which eliminates screen tearing and stuttering. They also employ LG Dynamic Action Sync that reduces frame buffering increasing responsiveness and minimizing input lag. There is also a Black Stabilizer that brightens dark screens. LG has also added a Crosshair for increased shooting accuracy and an on-screen Frame Per Second counter. The narrow bezel LG 27G610A-B IPS model has a 178 degree viewing angle both vertically and horizontally. It has (1) 1.4 DisplayPort, and (2) 2.1 HDMI ports (HDMI cables are not included) to which multiple devices can be attached simultaneously. It also has a Headphone Jack. Game play on this monitor is smooth and beautiful, after proper setup and tweaking. Make sure to download the complete User Manual from the LG site. Regular apps and streaming look fantastic. This is another finely designed and built product from LG. I don't think anyone but the most finicky will find anything lacking for their gameplay, especially at this pricepoint. I would highly suggest this LG UltraGear 27" Model 27G610A-B for my friends and family.

Under $200 for a 200 Hz refresh rate and IPS seems to be working out well. No issues playing battlefield six no ghosting issues or anything that might cause an issue. Only critique I would have is the button on the monitor to get through the menu is a little funky takes a little bit to get used to it, but luckily I won’t be needing to get into that very often after an initial set up.

Have used it with several different computers in a short time, testing and working on the computers. Connected my Mac mini M4 pro by hdmi and got full 200hz at 1440p. On my other desk is a several year old Samsung 34in ultrawide 1440p at 75hz. The picture quality is night and day. Debating on another ultrawide or going back to dual monitor with 2 of these for my other desk. Going from vn panel to ips and higher refresh rate makes me wish I would have done this sooner. Price is hard to beat for what it is. Personally I would not go with a 1080p monitor and now after getting an ips and high refresh rate monitor I can not go back, and can not justify the cost of an oled monitor. This monitor seems to be the sweet spot!

    Entry Level, LG Quality

While this LG UltraGear 27” Gaming Monitor is a basic, an essentially entry-level gaming monitor, it does the job. Visuals are rich; colors true-to-life. The 27” size screen is adequate for my own personal needs, and fits nicely on my desk setup. Overall, this monitor is well made; the stand being especially sturdy. It was easy to setup, too. There is a cord management ‘hole’ on the stand, which is quite handy as a gaming setup can get cluttered with cables, even with all the wireless peripherals and accessories gamers have available to them. This monitor’s screen surface itself appears ‘matte like,’ and in my opinion, doesn’t look as good as more ‘shiny looking’ screen surfaces. However, this type of appearance does cut down on visible glare, especially true if you have RGB lights or a lighted streaming setup on or around your desk. The 27” screen size somehow seems larger than it actually is, and during gameplay it provides a wonderful view of the in-game environment. This UltraGear monitor is highly adjustable. While in ‘landscape position’ the stand can move up and down, swivel side to side, tilt forward and back, and then can also be turned to a vertical position. Basically this monitor is simply “plug and play,” although an HDMI cable is not included. While there are display settings available via the monitor itself, you may need to go into your computer’s Display Settings to adjust the screen resolution, as I did, since the maximum resolution for this monitor is 2560x1400. There is an LG Switch App you can download from LG.com for more display customizations, but it’s not absolutely necessary and the monitor works without having that app. Overall, my impressions are favorable. So far I’m pleased with how this monitor performs. I did notice the fast refresh rate and low latency response during my gameplay sessions. This monitor fits my basic needs, just fine. Though for those seeking a ‘higher-end’ gaming monitor experience, you’re going to want to invest a bit more cost. This model LG UltraGear 27” Gaming Monitor is definitely “entry level.” But for its price point, it’s a good one.

Good monitor for the price. Couldn’t find too many with the same specs at the $200 range. Have not had any issues. Only thing is the display port area is very narrow, so if I want to remove the display port cable that I use, I have to press and pull on the cable but there’s only a small amount of room so I have to use something to press down on the cable. Not too big of a deal though.

I would give it a 4.5 if I could. For the price asked, the monitor is quite the upgrade for anyone who is looking to play in 1440p. Amazing monitor for both gaming and blender work.
