Colors pop with the OLED and the refresh rate is insanely fast! This is my first High refresh rate monitor and being curved makes for a great viewing experience. The size seems to hit The Sweet Spot between sitting close on your desk and sitting far away. Very lightweight and easy to put together. The stand does not have much adjustment. A few vertical inches is all you get. The price is well placed amongst other monitors in its class. This was a great value when today's prices seem out of control

Was skeptical getting a 1440p monitor at 45" but seeing it in person made it a no brainer. Beautifully bright OLED panel with vibrant color and deep blacks. The monitor is incredibly immersive, powered by a 7900xtx I run everything pushing 200+ fps. The extra screen space in games is amazing. The HDR mode took some tweaking to get it looking perfect but the payoff was worth the effort. My only regret about this monitor was not getting it sooner.

I had spent months researching the best monitor for my budget and needs. Turs out the Best Buy representative, Anthony, was FAR more knowledgeable than I and was aboe to expertly guide me through my options. We landed on the 45 inch curved LG Ultragear and I couldnt be happier! I walked away with more machine than I had anticipated and didnt break the bank! The monitor has a self image cleaning feature and once that had ran I was completly blown away by the picture. The curve is a bit extreme at first, but after a small adjustment period offers incredible immersion and lightning fast response times. I love the ease with which you can adjust the screen position and height along with the rgb lighting on the rear and under the screen. Gaming has never been more enjoyable. I have been using an Xbox X and its fantastic... I will be returning to Best Buy to see Anthony and purchase a gaming PC worthy of such a beast monitor!

If you’re looking for a high quality OLED monitor this is as far as you need to look. I have many OLED displays in my house and decided to make the switch to OLED for my gaming monitor. LG has some great panels for TVs and this is no different! Colors are great and the curve is perfect. Makes gaming so immersive. 240 hz is great. I upgraded from a 240hz IPS panel and it’s been great having the deeper colors and true HDR with the same responsiveness and refresh rate!

I went back and fourth between this monitor and the odyssey g9 49” - i ended up trying out both and have to say i fell in love with this monitor. By far the best one ive ever owned. I love the 800R curve, how much taller it is, and overall i havent had any issues with the PPI. If youre using this monitor for mostly gaming and media consumption. The immersion is on a whole other level, i will not be going back. AMAZING color. I am also a huge fan of LG and their displays. I have a LG C9 OLED TV, works amazing. Never had any issues with LG, i cannot say the same for Samsung though.

Amazing product. The biggest surprise was the absolute Chungus of a power brick. Weighs over a kilo and supplies 270w of power for this wicked sized monitor. The io on the back is perfect. The raised height of the stand is much appreciated and the size of the screen makes my 35" vertical monitor look small.. the best feature no one talks about is a 1080p monitor next to this one will line up nearly pixel perfect for not only wall papers but there's no huge jump going from one screen to the next. For context this is an H9 Elite case and a Viotek Gn35 Monitor next to it.

Best Monitor I have ever Owned

This monitor has been amazing. At first, I thought it would be too big and I actually purchased the 34". But when I got home and set it up on the desk, I realized that coming from a 32", I was going to miss that vertical space and so I went back down to the store and exchanged it for this 45" monster of a monitor and it has been amazing since. The only downside of this monitor for me is that text has a bit of ghosting due to the DPI, but it really isn't as bad as expected and certainly manageable. On the other hand, having so much screen real estate for browsing multiple tabs, searching through media and working on media projects, gaming, watching videos, you name it, this has been the best monitor I have ever owned. I love the input arrangement, I've got my PS5 on the HDMI 2.1 input, PC on DP, and laptop on USB-C, and it serves as a USB hub which is useful for keyboard or speakers, etc... I also really like that it has the OLED screen cleaning feature which runs anytime the screen turns off, and so I feel this monitor will last a long time, as that was one of my main concerns in switching to an OLED monitor. But wow, the display quality is night and day coming from an MSI LED panel which was not bad itself for what it was. Anyways, I've had it for about 6 months already and have not had a single issue. Highly Recommend but make sure you have the desk space. An L-shaped desk is probably best.

LG monitors are outstanding as always. Didn't think I'd like the strong curve but it's honestly perfect for this size monitor. I also have a deeper desk (35") so I don't feel too close. Clarity is great even at 1440p ultrawide on this and the extra vertical room is nice too. Also, it fit in the backseat of my sedan, so that's cool.

I have had gaming monitors from 27 inches all the way up to big screen TVs and this one has to be the absolute best with the curved screen and the high refresh rate, I don’t miss anything when playing Sports and fast pace games like call of duty and Fortnite. The colors pop, the brightness is excellent and would recommend this LG 45 inch OLED screen to just about anybody that is interested in a new monitor.

It is simply the best gaming monitor. Previously I use 49in super ultra 144Hz Asus monitor. I like it but I wanted more vertical view. When you watch movie there is no black bar on both side and the biggest advantage is color. It is super bright, but color is eye popping on game or HDR YouTube. I understand that some people complain (Grainey, not clear) about text, and I do agree. But in terms of gaming, it is better than any other monitor. Price is a bit stiff, but you should look for sale. At my picture top is Asus LCD HDR and bottom is LG OLED HDR on same YouTube HDR video.

I been watching this for awhile and it went on sale for 700 off and i went for it. People worry about the ppi, nothing to worry aboit unless you just want to pay a mortgage payment for a gpu. The curve is aggressive compared to my old 49in my son has now but quick to get used too. 32:9 makes you crave more vertical, 21:9 is perfection especially at this size. This 2024 model just pops with the upgrades to hrd i added a picture with my phone camera not a screenshot of starfeld and its just breathtaking.

Ive first seen the early generation of oked monitors at CES and finally jumped on this next gen oled monitors this year. Its a big monitor, aggressive 800R curve, this is great for gaming especially simulator games and FPS ganes. This thing embraces you and fully immerses you to the game or content with its display. The colors are vibrant and after some tweaking and calibration (also installing the color gamut profile to Windows) im loving mine alot. The pixel per inch ( PPI ) however needs improvement but I understand would be resource intensive heavy for most GPU. The subpixel layout of these OLED makes windows cleartype unable to fully smoothen and correct jagged edges of some texts, I found changing the font and text size to help. Overall, its a great monitor definitely the ideal gaming monitor youd have no regrets on, its fast, responsive, vibrant, besutiful, ideal aspect ratio with support from almost every game, its immersive and bright. If you do productivity and office work, its great too if you can live with the 800R curve and slightly pixelated texts.

I’m so thankful that I was able to get this amazing monitor during Black Friday sale. I have owned this for almost a year and have had (knock on wood) not one problem with it. I can split this single screen into several screens and multitask or I can use it to process photos and also to play games. 240 fps, gsync capability and LG software make it simple to use. I would definitely recommend this if you want some graphical real estate or if you need a larger screen for health reasons or whatever reason. It’s so handy to have for multiple windows and tasks. Make sure to set up the maintenance and RGB lighting either from the software or directly from the power button interface in order to make sure that this beauty lasts you for a long time.

Let me just get this out of the way right up front: I love this monitor. Photos of its style and design don't do it justice. It is a quite a stately, elegant-looking monitor with very thin aluminum bezels and a glossy dark gun metal gray rear frame and stand. The screen itself is ultra thin, and all in all, I'm a big fan of how this monitor was designed. It's a nice looking showpiece as much as it is a monitor. It looks and feels premium as soon as you lift it out of the box. As far as picture quality, well, it's OLED, and it's awesome. Games and videos look outstanding on it, and that goes for both the image and the motion clarity. It has height, tilt & swivel adjustment, and LG's OSD is easy to use with many features and color profiles to suit your taste. Even though it's marketed as a gaming monitor, I've used it for work for several hours since I got it, and it's been surprisingly good for that too. This panel is smooth, quick and snappy with very low input lag, and this along with its size made it quite pleasant to work on. I expected that the rather low ppi would make working on it less than ideal, but I found it wasn't nearly as much of an issue as I thought it would be. This monitor is one of those things that can elicit a certain emotional response from the buyer. I had seen it a few times in pictures, but the first time I saw it in person on display in a store last week, I was in awe. It really is one of the coolest-looking monitors I've ever seen and that is still true after having used it all week. Truth be told, this panel won't be for everyone. It has an aggressive curve which some may not like, and ultrawide isn't supported in quite as many games as standard 16:9, although the vast majority of games these days do support ultrawide just fine. It also has a matte finish on the screen as opposed to a glossy one. I normally prefer glossy, but this panel still has a striking image and excellent colors and clarity regardless of the matte coating. I'm really glad I took a chance on this monitor.

Performance wise it is great. Colors are fantastic. Speakers are mediocre, but I am using some Bose speakers instead so can’t really complain much about them. The speakers offer decent sound quality, but not as loud as I would like. Response time is very good. The only thing I can say that I dislike about this monitor is the 800R curvature. It is not bad. It just takes some getting used to. Especially when the other monitors I have used in the past were or are are 1500R. I use this as the game monitor for my system with an RX 6800XT. The monitor is better than the graphics card, but since I generally look for playing around 120 Hz this works well for me. Part of the reason I chose this monitor is that I prefer to keep my eyes around 6 feet away. Due to this the 800R curvature is a little extreme. Not a lot, just a little bit extreme. Perhaps I should have chosen an adjustable curvature monitor. But an additional $300 in cost and not being in stock helped to decide in favor of this unit. I use a second monitor alongside this one. The second monitor is a 32” 2560x1440 curved unit. The screen of the smaller monitor is about 1” shorter in height than this 45” 3440x1440. Which is close enough that I can game on the 45” and still have a web browser or document open on the 32” unit. The 32” is plugged into the onboard graphics of a Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor. Am I glad I bought this unit? Absolutely, yes!

The LG UltraGear 45" OLED is one of the best gaming monitors money can buy. It combines cutting-edge tech, outstanding visuals, and ultra-responsive performance in a sleek, immersive package. If you're a serious gamer, content creator, or just someone who appreciates top-tier tech, this monitor is a phenomenal investment. Price: It’s a premium product, and the price reflects that. But if you want the best, this is worth it. OLED Burn-In: Always a minor concern with OLEDs, but LG includes some features to help mitigate this (screen shift, auto brightness limiter, etc.).

I've been using computers since the monitors were black and white. This monitor is replacing an Odyssey G9 (non-OLED). The picture quality is amazing of course - it's an LG OLED. The only problem you might have is the low pixel density. My son bought the same monitor and returned it because of this issue. I recommend using the HDMI input because at the 3440x1440 resolution you can avoid display stream compression using HDMI but you cannot avoid it using DisplayPort. With display stream compression, you will get flickering in colors that are supposed to be smoothly changing. Over HDMI, you will not. The attached picture is a photo of the screen. The screen itself is much sharper than the photo. Also, the USB-C port is not a hub but it CAN be used for power delivery and as a video input at the same time. Say you had a ROG Ally, you can plug into the monitor and keep it charged and when you turn it on the monitor can switch to display the Ally screen.
