    Geek Squad couldn’t help install Microsoft 365

    Support started out well until elevated to a “super geek”. After paying 39.99, my issue was unresolved and my laptop was frozen. When I called back, I got another “super geek” who transferred me to a software specialist who advised me to contact Microsoft support. I was literally on and off with support for 6 hours , paid $39.99 and still don’t have my product installed.

    The first person who answered my call couldn't fix the problem of not being able to access online bill pay through my bank. She had to call me back because she had to restart her computer. After 45 minutes, she referred me to someone more "advanced", who temporarily fixed the problem. Once I tried to log back in, I could not access online bill pay. I wasted 2 hours dealing with the Geek Squad, and my problem is STILL not resolved. I am NOT amused!

    Tax season nightmare fixed.

    I had the download version of Turbo Tax and when opening it to work on it further, none of the previous entries were there. One tech was able to find my return that I'd done and tell me how to access it. I then completed my return and filed. Very pleased all my work was found.

    You have to be kidding me. Three hours on the phone. 8i miles of travel to the store three times or more. An appointment to drop off a computer. An appointment requested to pick it up. Pick it up and the simple chore of renewing the virus protection (Webroot). Not done. Start it up, " Your Web root has expired". Three hours on the phone and still no agent with a working telephone to log in. Help on line goes to the sales Department. To buy more equipment that you cannot get serviced? Please Don't let me tell you about my LG big screen TV that they had nobody to service it, after I bought the service plan.

    Geek Squad was stumped!

    After an hour on the phone with 2 levels of support and remote control, the squad gave up -- and charged me $43 -- and told me to take it in to Best Buy. I then paid $180 for the squad to take 11 days to "fix" the problem, which only took a few minutes once an expert discovered the (simple) issue.

    FRAUD! Best Buy Chatbot live agent (no name) keeps putting items in a cart for me. NO NO and NO. Now received an email from paypal!

    Most of the Tech Geek Squad tried to help. The advanced team looked into the worthless computer virtually and determined it was a manufacturer's flaw. The supervisor chose to ignore helping with a solution. BestBuy did a terrible thing to me.

    The fact that you have to pay for a diagnosis is absurd. Was told if I paid the $40.00 fee they could fix my computer, and they were unsuccessful. They could not even tell me what the issue is. I was told I would receive a refund since they were not able to fix it.
