    Perfect Starlink Mounting Service!

    I purchased and easily setup the Starlink system on my own. It worked perfectly but I needed it mounted to my roof. Geek squad examined my entire property to determine the best location and stayed late into the evening to be sure it was done right. They even verified the signal by testing all my devices! Highly recommended if you are looking for professional mounting of the Starlink dish.

    I was billed for an installation that never took place! I was told that I was not going to be billed for install that was scheduled twice but were both no shows. I am disputing this part of my bill and will cancel my best buy credit card if this is not resolved and this charge removed from my bill.

    ...unfortunately, service was not started, nor completed, for the 3rd party company, Mastec Video, was unprepared and had no knowledge of installing the Starlink device. Due to their company policy, they were not allowed to climb up over six feet. (Due to obstructions, device is installed on the roof of the property) The two men were very polite but had no experience in installing this device. I am glad that my money was returned without any restrictions or fees.

    Ordered Starlink through Best Buy w/installation. Best Buy did not sell us all that was needed. So after getting a 12hr installation window, the installer showed up and could not install. One would think they could reschedule on the spot. Nope!!! We had to spend hours of dealing with the Best Buy call center (horrible) and now finally have another 12hr install schedule a week later. Best Buy has been just getting worse and worse with their internet sales. Just horrible!!! I imagine that Best Buy has been losing customers with their complete disrespect for their customers’ time. Aggravating/frustrating customers is a BAD business model!

    Installed Starlink

    Installation guy installed Starlink and got it linked to my TV. Explained everything to me, answered my questions. Was patient with me, worked quickly, left minimal mess.

    RE: Scheduling and communication with GEEK Squad for Starlink installation. This is NOT a review off the installation because after almost two months and FIVE no shows or cancellations by BB or their outside contractors I finally gave up and hired a professional. Dealing w Best Buy scheduling has been the absolute WORST experience I have ever had! Total lack of communication, misinformation and blatant lies pushed me to the point o no return w BB. NEVER again!

    What a nightmare! Between not being able to call and talk to the store and spent over 4 hours on the phone with the call in group, this was a horrible experience. Bought the stuff and picked up at the store. Install was scheduled in a week. No call from them so when I called to find out about it, they said that a old phone number was on the account and they could not reach me. Rescheduled and now it was a two week wait. This was expedited by a team member in the store. The next day a manager from the Rogers, AR called me. Everything is set up with notes all over the ticket. Two weeks and still no call, they said it was in the system but would not move to the scheduled appointment in their computer. Went back to the store and they could not tell me what was wrong but the appointment was hung up. Notes all in the system and on the ticket to call me. The manager deleted the ticket, made a new one and was very helpful. Now just had to wait another week. So I waited 30 days from purchase to installation with SO MUCH aggravation. The store personnel were very helpful but the call center SUCKS! I made 6 calls and spent over 4 hours on the phone. The sad thing is you cannot talk to the people at the store. The installers were not even Geek Squad employees! They did a good job on the install though. The system and not being able to talk to a store employee on the phone is a disaster!!!!!!!!!!

    Installer was a no-show. I waited around the house all day & didn't hear a word until shortly after 5:00 when a "customer advocate" called to reschedule the appointment. By then I'd lost all confidence in Best Buy.

    We bought a complete starlink system for our new house which doesn’t have internet or tv service and paid for and scheduled installation. Received email confirming installation, never showed up. When I called they said there was a “ glitch” on their end and it had been cancelled. We asked for a refund and hired some one to install it. Very disappointed.

    Terrible Install - Technician was here until 10:30 pm, installed the unit under a soffit, put several holes in our siding and left without fixing it, so we could not get internet service. We had to fix it ourselves, pay someone to finish the job, and now we have to replace the ruined siding. Do no recommend Best Buyer for Starlink Installation
