Best Buy in Dothan Alabama sold me a Starlink installation package in March 2025. Technician was there in two days, did an excellent job on my FIRST system. Same store sold me another installation package early April 2025, told me it would be 3 weeks. Appointment time came and went with no communication. Called Best Buy and they said they didn't have any technicians in this area. (1/4 mile from previous installation). They should have known that when they sold me the 2nd package. Beyond comprehension, totally disappointed. I've spent my last dollar at Best Buy.

Ordered Starlink through Best Buy w/installation. Best Buy did not sell us all that was needed. So after getting a 12hr installation window, the installer showed up and could not install. One would think they could reschedule on the spot. Nope!!! We had to spend hours of dealing with the Best Buy call center (horrible) and now finally have another 12hr install schedule a week later. Best Buy has been just getting worse and worse with their internet sales. Just horrible!!! I imagine that Best Buy has been losing customers with their complete disrespect for their customers’ time. Aggravating/frustrating customers is a BAD business model!

The agents installed my Starlink Satellite and connected it quickly. Showed up on time and were so great to work with as they took the time to explain every detail to me regarding the device and the app! They were terrific!

Job well done! I would do it again with the Geek Squad.

The agent hooked up my StarLink and did an excellent job. I just didn't realize that I would owe more money in the process than what was initially quoted.

The techs were wonderful; very helpful, knowledgeable, and hard working. Chris and Brandon did a professional job for Best Buy! I couldn't be more pleased. I would highly recommend these two young men. They were awesome!!

Technician was courteous and called when he was about 1/2 hour away. I work from home so he worked hard to keep my Internet on until he absolutely had to disconnect it to bring it into the house. He was training a new technician and took his time to make sure to explain how to do things and what to do to keep clients happy. I would 100% recommend Best Buy for your installs.

I purchased and easily setup the Starlink system on my own. It worked perfectly but I needed it mounted to my roof. Geek squad examined my entire property to determine the best location and stayed late into the evening to be sure it was done right. They even verified the signal by testing all my devices! Highly recommended if you are looking for professional mounting of the Starlink dish.

I love my new Starlink dish I can view everything and it is so fast and never goes out like my other one did

Very happy with this product. We highly recommend this product to everyone especially in weak areas.

Great job and pretty fast. Only problem was that Best Buy scheduled them for Saturday the first time and it turns out they don’t come to the Hampton on weekends.

The guys that came out were not qualified cancelled the setup proper equipment to drill a hole in brick not able or insured to go on was told by them, on line found professional Starlink installers came in 2 day and setup

I was billed for an installation that never took place! I was told that I was not going to be billed for install that was scheduled twice but were both no shows. I am disputing this part of my bill and will cancel my best buy credit card if this is not resolved and this charge removed from my bill.

...unfortunately, service was not started, nor completed, for the 3rd party company, Mastec Video, was unprepared and had no knowledge of installing the Starlink device. Due to their company policy, they were not allowed to climb up over six feet. (Due to obstructions, device is installed on the roof of the property) The two men were very polite but had no experience in installing this device. I am glad that my money was returned without any restrictions or fees.

RE: Scheduling and communication with GEEK Squad for Starlink installation. This is NOT a review off the installation because after almost two months and FIVE no shows or cancellations by BB or their outside contractors I finally gave up and hired a professional. Dealing w Best Buy scheduling has been the absolute WORST experience I have ever had! Total lack of communication, misinformation and blatant lies pushed me to the point o no return w BB. NEVER again!

David did an excellent and very professional job and was very nice,,,, extremely knowledgeable

Very helpful. Would have preferred that they went through attic though and installed next to gable. But love my internet connection with Starlink.

I’m hoping it’s everything I’ve imagined it to be. The other internet providers aren’t that great
