I have carried a Geek Squad and Webroot coverage for 3 years. When I tried to renew it online it did not allow me so I went to the store. They told me that it would not be renewed as they were phasing that program out and I could pay over $200.00 for the coverage. Thinking I had no choice I did it. Then it was renewed automatically. I called Geek Squad and they handled it for me and I am satisfied with the end result. The only issue is having to wait on the phone to get through.

Great recommendation. My internal hard drive failed. Upfront, I asked them to give me a recommendation on a new hard drive for this desktop or a new desktop, whatever was the better value. I was thinking the new computer option was going to be the recommendation. To my surprise, the Geek Squad team recommended an internal hard drive which was on sale and even helped me setup windows and office. Great service.

took my laptop in because it was running slow. After doing a complete scan, it was found that the hard drive was running at 100%. Had them replace the hard drive and it is running like new!

Fake online Scammers, claiming to be the Geek Squad, locked me out of my desktop. I brought the computer to my local Best Buy and the real Geek Squad not only saved all my data but preserved my original programs.

I have a Mac that was 7-8 years old and wanted it updated. The store did a quick check and found I needed to purchase some software. I went home and did that then returned. It was a little frustrating that my original info was not saved. However, they were quick to get my product in and going. After returning home I was a little frustrated because they had not downloaded and run all f the new updates. I was able to do that to get it updated but I did the work instead of them doing what I paid for. However, they cleaned it up and the speed and use is much better!

I am pleasantly surprised how good the Geek Squad is. The customer service is exceptional and the best. My desktop computer has been failing booting as Windows 10 auto update was corrupted and I was not able to use my computer for several months. Then I contacted Geek Squad at the closest Best Buy Store [At Rivergate Plaza, South Tryon St] and that was the best thing and Glad I did. They listened to my computer issues and able to bring my computer to life. I highly recommend their service.

I started getting strange error messages on many of my software programs and they wouldn't load. Turns out my anti-virus program was the culprit. The Geek Squad had no problem with removing the program (which was Kaspersky and it was sold with the all-in-one that I own) and I was able to use another anti-virus program that I already had on my machine. The Geek Squad also reloaded Kaspersky to test whether it was truly that program and the problems started again. They again deleted the program. I have had no problems since then.

Had an issue with laptop wanting to reboot on its own. Took it into Geek Squad. It turned out there was glitch in Windows 11 update. They reinstalled the operating system and returned my laptop sooner than promised.
