Had an issue with laptop wanting to reboot on its own. Took it into Geek Squad. It turned out there was glitch in Windows 11 update. They reinstalled the operating system and returned my laptop sooner than promised.

Agent was very good at explaining the process and cost. I asked about if they would need the charger. I was told no. Two days late I was contacted that they needed the charger. So two trips and a delay in getting my laptop serviced.

Laptop battery dislodged

The battery in my laptop apparently dislodged in transit. They technicians found the problem and fixed it. Although it was battery related they did not replace it as others might do, but realized the battery was still good.

Geek Squad is Tops for Computer Software Repairs!

I started getting strange error messages on many of my software programs and they wouldn't load. Turns out my anti-virus program was the culprit. The Geek Squad had no problem with removing the program (which was Kaspersky and it was sold with the all-in-one that I own) and I was able to use another anti-virus program that I already had on my machine. The Geek Squad also reloaded Kaspersky to test whether it was truly that program and the problems started again. They again deleted the program. I have had no problems since then.

I took my computer in to have a virus removed. The agent was great. I left it there and returned about an hour later and picked it up. Geek Squad is the best. Agents are very knowledgeable and very efficient.

im not sure what this is for,, but i did go in to have the browser changed and some other stuff ,, no viruses since i just got it and nowadays they are better than 2006

My Lap top was hacked. Geek Squad saved me. I’m on a disability income so concerned of being able to pay for getting rid of what was done & the hackers ! I’m he Squad FIXED it affordably for me! I was thrilled.

I am very self-conscious of how computer challenged I am. Yet I met Brent, a Geeksquad member, and he put me completely at ease. He does everything from setting up my new computer to adding virus protection and transferring things from my old computer. He shows me how to navigate for what I’m looking for. Because of Brent, I will shop at Best Buy for all other technological purchases.

The agents were quick, helpful, and knowledgeable. I took my PC in because my GPU seemed to have issues shutting down my PC while playing games. They dusted it out, installed 3 new fans, and worked great when I got it back. I had to send out my GPU for repairs via MFG, but I received my GPU back, and the new fans and clean up they did work great!

I had a computer with a Windows 10 issue. Agent was able to save all of my documents on a separate drive and reload some missing files for Windows 10 to operate correctly. I was kept informed of the progress the entire time. Purchasing Beta provides more than just repairs like this. It also covers extended warranties on new purchases as well. The 'Squad' did a great job!

The agents were very professional, as a person who isn’t very experienced with pc gaming they helped me understand the issues and the reasons why. fixed the problems I was having in a reasonable amount of time and now I’m enjoying my gaming!

The in-store service is of high quality as always. However, you run the risk of being confronted with long waits and a questionable bill if you don't do the following:
-Set up your visit to the store through the app (for ANYTHING related to Geek Squad...even a pick up). They may not even talk wtih you at all if you haven't.
-Buy Total Tech Assistance. It will save you time, money and the hassle of figuring out your bill in the long-run.
