Q: QuestionDOES THIS PRINTER INCORPORATE DUPLEX PRINTING?(2 answers)
A: AnswerNo. I was concerned about that and I tried the Epson 3600. But the Epson has such a clumsy interface that I took it back and bought the Canon G3200. Love this printer and the "no duplex" has not been a problem or annoyance. Straight through paper path for all weights including card stock. Easy to manually flip over the paper to continue printing on other side.Answered by Wordchipper
Q: QuestionCan you turn it on from your computer? Thanks!(5 answers)
A: AnswerYes, it can be auto-on and it also shuts itself off too (you can set the time, as short as 15 minutes and as long as an hour or stays on forever.) I installed mine at first via USB and switched to wireless for others to use (at home). It wakes up automatically when a page is sent to it.Answered by ComputerBoy
Q: QuestionWhat is 3 in 1 functionality? How does that differ from 4 in 1 functionality?(2 answers)
A: AnswerIt does not have faxing capability.Answered by CommunityAnswer
Q: Questionwell it reduce and enlargen(2 answers)
A: AnswerIf you mean when you're scanning can you reduce or enlarge a document or photo? Not positive but I never do that on the scanner. I usually scan the document at 100% and do any enlarging or reduction, i.e., sizing in Photoshop Elements (other photo programs also work. I love this printer after trying the Epson 3600. The software interface to the printer from the computer is excellent vs. the Epson (no photo printing software). The ink use is marvelous. Glad to be rid of ink tanks. You may want to check the manual for this printer and read the scanning section. The Canon does nearly all functions on your computer, except straight photocopying, and I like that Epson requires having settings on the computer AND on the machine itself and they have to match. Cumbersome and a two-step process. P. S. I don't work for Canon and they're not paying me for this answer or review. I'm simply a long time Canon user that loves this excellent extension of their inkjet line. Here's the link to a pdf of their manual: https://allmanualpdf.com/2017/07/28/canon-pixma-g3200-user-manual-pdf/Answered by Wordchipper
Q: Questiondoes it come with the inks ? Can I reduce and enlarge? Thanks Craig(3 answers)
A: AnswerYes. There's a large bottle of black, and standard size bottles of the 3 colors. Those will fill the tanks. Also Yes, I can change sizes of prints, print wireless from laptops, smartphones, et al.Answered by Skip
- A: AnswerThere are the standard colors - black, cyan, magenta and yellow. They just look darker in the ink tanks. The print quality is very good for an ink jet printer.

Doesnt have Airprint awful directions
Directions are awful and tell you to ensure the lights blink correctly but they dont tell you what to do if they dont blink correctly during set up. I think i finally got it only to find out you cant just print from your phone on a web page, like for recipes, because it doesnt show up in the printer list. The print i did get was awful. Going back in the morning.

GREAT PRINTER HUGE INK SUPPLY
Set up worked fine from the CD that's included, I never had to go on-line. Photo Quality prints are excellent if you change the preferences to: Printer Manages Colors, and Glossy II, and print quality HIGH, It takes about 2 minutes to print an 8.5 x 11 at 300 dpi but you'll be happy with the results. This replaces my old printer that used 5 cartridges that would cost $100 for a set after about 20 prints. This G3200 is so much cheaper to use to print photos and its easier to load the ink.. If you are printing a typed page with 20 lb bond paper its takes about 10 seconds or less to print the page. Paper stands up at an angle in the back/top of the printer so feeding thick glossy photo paper from the back is flawless and quick since it doesn't have to curve around any rollers. Printing is relatively quiet, It doesn't make excessive noise, and it comes on quick from off.

Simple to use photo printer.
I purchased this to replace a 10 year old printer. My needs had changed from one in which I printed business documents to one in which I was interest in much better printed photos. I was also looking for a printer with a built in reservoir rather than one with cartridges. I wanted a built in scanner. I chose this based on the scanning ability and the ink reservoir. It easy enough to setup provide you read the directions in the right order - I didn't and it caused confusions. My older printer was much harder to setup on a wireless network. This one was easy. The quality of the printing is good. It is rather ordinary on plain paper, but it becomes excellent when using better quality photo paper. My reason for a 4 out of 5 is that information can be hard to get and Canon isn't willing to answer simple questions, such as can this work with ordinary Avery labels. I don't use labels often so it isn't a deal killer for me, but the lack of simple information on a product that seems to be designed to be an occasional business printer is a minor negative.
