- A: AnswerIt could be the batteries are too cold. I leave the batteries in the house not in the garage . I remove the batteries from the machine after use and place back into a warm environment (house) the batteries are super sensitive to extreme cold.

Blown away ;0)
Purchased for my parents as a gift; they have an 80v mower, so adding this to their arsenal was a no-brainer. Both tools were quick and easy to assemble and the batteries came fully charged. The thrower works phenomenally with lighter snow and moves heavier/wet snow better than expected—it helps to move the thrower back and forth, “chipping” away at wet snow. The blower’s throttle is particularly nice when maintaining a bigger lawn or tackling a large job site. Couldn’t beat the price- purchased separately, the three batteries and charger cost about what I paid for them + the tools!

Snow go away!
Out of the box, this Greenworks snow blower was easy to assemble and was plug-and-play! The handles are metal, the body mostly plastic, and the auger plastic also. There aren't as many metal parts on this electric blower compared to a gas blower, so it's a lot lighter and easier to transport. I had a gas snow blower and had more back problems than if I shoveled my way out.. I comes with two 80V rechargeable batteries and a charger that recharges to a full charge in around 45 minutes. I had only one opportunity to use this blower this season, and it was in 2-3 inches of snow. It was used on our shared driveway, and sidewalks for our house and our neighbor. Only one-half charge was used on one battery for this storm, two batteries should be fine for 6-8 inches of light snow. We have a rechargeable lawn mower as well, mostly plastic. Treat this snow blower in the same manner, not like bulky metal tanks.. I would not use this on unpaved roads or driveways that have gravel that can damage plastic. Great for sidewalks and paved driveways.....!!! Also comes with a leaf blower that uses the same batteries..COOL!! And $700 off the original price!

80V Greenworks tools pack a punch!
$399????!!! Wow!! Regular price $1199, and Deal of the Day made this baby totally affordable. The 80V stuff by Greenworks pack a punch, and these are no exception. The blower is super powerful and the 20" snow blower knocks out 6" of snow on a 3 lane, 40 feet driveway in about 20-25 minutes max. The battery charges quickly (about 20 minutes) and getting two 4 amp hour batteries makes this deal a steal! I actually get most of the snow with the snowblower and finish it off with the blower assuming the snow isn't too heavy. Super impressed!!
