Keep on working with this ultrawide LG IPS monitor. Its native resolution is 2560 x 1080, giving you more screen area in which to work in and providing a wider view for your design processes. It also uses IPS technology, which produces vivid colors and good contrasts from this 29-inch LG IPS monitor.

Q: Can you hook up PS4 to the monitor like it's a TV
A: Yes, it has an HDMI port and you can connect it no problem. However the monitor has no sound, so you'll still need to use headphones or external speakers.
Q: Will this work with my Macbook Air as an external monitor?
A: I do not see why not. I use mine exclusively for a Mac Mini that uses the micro display port as well. The newer the MacBook Air the greater the chance of getting to utilize the greater than HD display on the monitor.
A: If your built in video capabilities does not support the extended wide resolution of this monitor, then no it will not fill the screen. The HP Spectre x360 only goes to 1920x1080 and not to this monitor's 2560x1080.
Q: Would this work good for a 4 camera 1080p security system?
A: I do not see why not. It's pretty wide so I imagine you could easily have 4 channels visible at once.
Q: Does this monitor have a audio input?
A: It has 1 audio output jack. Use my Logitech camera for audio input.
Q: I have a MacBook Pro 15 in 2016 I have hdmi .....will it fill screen?
A: I have a 13 inch Mac Pro 2015 edition and works well. I think these monitors are programed to adjust to right size but you can also do it on your setting of the computer to your liking. When I purchased this monitor and plugged it in for the first time it just did it on it's own and filled the screen, really great display. It gives a lot more view of your workspace and great for multitasking. I say "YES" it should, no reason why it should not fill the display. Hope this helps.
Q: What is the Vesa Mount Dimensions Is the Vesa mount dimensions 50x50 75x75 or 100x100????
A: Monitor mount on rear case uses 75mm VESA pattern. I recently mounted monitor on an articulating arm. Mounting screws are metric M4 (not M6 or M8), and should be turned into monitor case three revolutions. My kit came with 5mm and 10mm spacers, I used the 5mm to avoid turning screws too deeply into monitor. M4 screws come in several lengths: 4mm, 5.4mm and 7.4mm. Don't use SAE screws, use metric (screws and maybe spacers should come with whatever mount you are installing).
Q: Will this work on my Mac Pro 2008 desktop?
A: It will work natively provided that your Mac Pro 2008 desktop has HDMI or DisplayPort output. Otherwise, you will need an adapter, however it is very likely that you will take a hit in resolution.
