A:AnswerI am on my forth Dyson. With the last one, I bought an extender hose that works great. It will not work on an older Dyson. Check the Dyson website for a list if the Dysons that this extender will work on.
A:AnswerHello Meme, this is Kelly with Dyson. If you are finding that your Dyson Ball Animal 2 is no longer picking up debris from the base of the machine, or the wand/hose, it's likely you're losing suction. Your machine can lose suction due to a blockage, or dirty filters. We would be happy to troubleshoot your machine with you to resolve the issue. Please consider contacting us directly at askdysonUS@dyson.com for assistance.
Best wishes,

A:AnswerHello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Ball Animal 2 Upright vacuum cleaner, as with all Dyson vacuums, are engineered to effectively remove dust, dirt and pet hair from all floor types. However, we recommend consulting with your flooring manufacturer before purchasing a Dyson for guidelines regarding the care and maintenance of their product. You can shut off the brush bar on our uprights, if using a spinning bar with bristles would be a concern for you. There is nothing on the cleaner head that would polish your hard floors, however.
Best wishes,

A:AnswerMine broke as well. I was able to lift it up with a pair of scissors and continued using it like that for a few more months until the vacuum stopped working all together. It lasted 3 years luckily I had the Best Buy warranty and got a full refund and purchased another one. I did go on the Dyson website to find out there wasn't much of a warranty but you could purchase separate parts individually including that part but it was like $100. Very expensive.
A:AnswerNot on the one I have. I wish it did and I wouldn’t have wasted my money. It’s a very good sweeper but not if you can’t use it on the carpet you have.
