A:Answer The purpose is flexibility; I don't want to run cable down a stairwell to the satellite, nor from the satellite to the entertainment center, but you do seem to have those options. Try different configurations and find out which one gives you the best signal where you want it. Go wireless between router and satellite, or from satellite to Dishnet, and report back.
