QuestionI have an HP laptop LAPTOP-BG204IV0 with windows 11 it’s a few years old I tried turning it on I see the power light comes on and even when on charger it displays a white light but the screen is black, can you help troubleshoot with black screen?

QuestionWhen turning my Dell laptop on it freezes while loading up the apps and it won’t shut down unless you cut the power. There are no accessories attached and a systems check indicates no problems found. Can the Geeks help? Bart

QuestionAMD Ryzen 7 5600g EVGA 3070 XC3 Asus B550-A Gaming Unable to re-install Windows 11. I get to 96% "Getting files ready for installation" and it either freezes entirely, or reboots and cant complete the install. BIOS updated. Fresh Win11 from USB.

- Answer I had the same problem on my brand-new pc. Turns out one of my ram sticks was bad and taking out the bad stick allowed windows to install with no problems. I would try to install it with just one ram stick installed at a time and see where that takes you.

QuestionI think my laptop have a battery issue, because the battery life is supposed to last 5-8hrs, but it has been lasting at least 1 maybe 2hrs even though I have been barely doing anything on it.

QuestionMy computer was compromised due to cyber ransom scam. Fortunately I have not lost any money yet but I have had to change all my passwords and disconnected my computer told by bank NOT use until it has had a full virus & spyware removal scan. can you do?
