A:AnswerUnfortunately no and I just found that out after it got delivered to my house. My question is why does it not come with a power cord? How are you suppose to use it? That’s like buying a truck and it does not come with tires.
A:AnswerHello there! There is very little difference in height, width, and depth between a tall tub and regular tub dishwasher. The tall tub allows for plates that are larger than normal the space needed to clean properly. I have a link between two units, the tall tub on the right, that will help show the specs between the two units. I hope it helps you. http://www.whirlpool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/WHRCompareProductsDisplay?catalogId=10561&categoryId=721820&langId=-1&storeId=10211
A:AnswerMost likely your heating element isn't working. If it doesn't heat the detergent up to a certain temperature than it will leave (smear) residue and globs of detergent over your dishes.
A:Answersounds like water is backing up into your dishwasher from the drainline, did you install with the air gap or install the drainline with a high loop to prevent backflow of water?
A:AnswerThank you for your interest in Whirlpool dishwashers. I have been looking at our brands and most require a 33 1/2 height to fit the units. The feet removed or lowered my only provide about 1/2" of space at the most, so the fit will be tight but it should work. I have provided the use and care guide as it provides the minimums required to install the dishwasher so you know before the purchase. I hope this provides the best guide and help possible. In appreciation, Melanie

A:AnswerIf you look at the instruction manual, you can see how you can adjust the springs. Basically you pull the dishwasher out and you will see a spring on either side connected to the base. There are a series of holes that you can move the spring to. Towards the door will lessen the tension and away will increase it. It sounds like yours it too tense. Try moving the spring towards the doors a slot or two (both side equally) until you get the tension you like. You shouldn't have to have the lower rack out just to keep the door from closing. Hope this helps.
A:AnswerAccording to the email I received today from Best Buy customer care, this dishwasher is "no longer available to our inventory".
Whirlpool - 24" Tall Tub Built-In Dishwasher - Black
Model: WDF520PADB
A:AnswerYes, you’ll want the installation kit. It was $30. Delivery may be waived depending on current price, but usually an install and disposal fee, separately. If you have a clogged pipe prior to install you’ll have to clear it probably. I don’t see why they would. They’re installers not plumbers.
A:AnswerThere is a 1 hour cycle and a heavy and normal cycle. I just rinse my dishes and use the normal cycle and regular dry cycle and the dishes come out clean. You do need to use a rinse aid or the dry cycle doesn’t seem to work well. Once I added the rinse aid, the dishes were dry. The normal cycle runs for about 2 hours, 15 minutes.
A:Answer34-1/4" tall but there are feet on bottom that screw in/out to adjust (maybe +/- 1/2")
It's 23-1/2" wide and fits a standard 24" deep kitchen cabinet.
