    Automatic renewal for Geek Squad services

    Total tech support and Webroot services were renewed by Best Buy on-line. I have not spoken to anyone since it was charged to my credit card.

    Paid assembly was a mistake

    Don't pay to have it assembled. I'm still waiting for them to correct the issue. 3 visits so far. 1 to assemble 1/17/2023(incorrectly), 2nd to repair 3/14/2023(they sent pics to mgt and said it needed replacing bcs its missing parts/fasteners) 3rd visit more pictures and confirmation 3/16/2023, it needs to be replaced. 3/20/23 Called support line and got disconnected after talking to 2 different agents for a minimum of 1/2 hr individually. Still no update from geek squad or Best Buy. If you have at least a full work week to wait around for their 5 hour window for each visit then maybe the assembly would be worth it. I'm at about 16-17 hours of waiting time, including phone calls (it's probably more) and STILL have no resolution.

    The guy that was sent to work on my iCloud didn’t seem at all knowledgeable about the product. Total waste of time and money. Didn’t even know much about apple products either. Do not recommend the use of the service.

    Issues with computer setup for very elderly client

    The agent was supposed to set up my 96 year old father’s new computer, and after he left, it was still unusable. I live in a different state, and cannot tell if the agent did all he was supposed to, but my father is a retired engineer with full cognitive function, and he was not satisfied. I will soon be visiting my father, and will be better equipped to assess the situation.

    Technician didn't complete repair didn't perform what was supposed to be repaired it sounded as they knew nothing about technical support

    I only got this because I had to have various things set up that would have cost a lot more without this "membership", otherwise not sure if it would be very useful. I was told delivery of further items would be free, but when I purchased more items I was told delivery would only be free only for items that cost $399 and above each (mine were 2 items that cost about $400) and only if a complicated installation was involved.

    Geek squad call centre giving poor servixe

    The appointment had was for a tv repair which I had booked one week before.the day of the service the tech called and said he did NOT know what he was coming for when I told him for TV repair he said he was a tech for computers so told me to call and let them know which I did and was told there weren’t any opening (or no techs) and a supervise named Luis was supposed to call me back it’s been 2 days and no calls. Called again Friday and give same story this is getting frustrating I would like some from corporate to call me

    The appt time was so far in advance that I had to cancel when I found someone else to take care of the problem which they did. And to think i PAY for this membership.

    The appointment scheduled for August 18, 2023, at my new address in GA, was canceled due to the significant additional charges on top of my annual service fee. Consequently, I opted to hire a technician from another company to complete the job that was originally agreed upon in our contract. Furthermore, the other company charged a much lower fee for the same service.

    Geek staff is a 5 star but I’m very upset that there is now charge for home support. This was NOT part of the original plan I enrolled in.

    Bad experience with Geek Squad Tech Port Charlotte

    Geek Squad Tech "Vincent" has a lot to learn about customer service. Arrived to have the cracked glass on my SE 8 iphone replaced. Was informed could not be seen without a appointment. Appointment was made for 1520 hours. Arrived at 1510 hours. Vincent took my phone and stated he had to check the phone to insure nothing else was wrong. I informed him the phone had no issues, but he still had to check it. Asked me for the Apple password. I had no idea what it was. Told him he should have reminded us at the time the appointment was made to bring the password. My wife and I where very upset at this point having to go back home for the password (third trip). Asked to see the Manager. Saw Tanya and was informed if we got there prior to 1800 hours (fourth trip) she would have the phone fixed. If at the time the appointment was made we were told to bring the password we wouldn't have had to make all these trips.

    I brought my computer because one program would not print. I tested my printer before I brought it in to see if anything would print and it printed several things. After I brought it back home nothing wld print. They tried remotely. Couldnt fix but never advised me. When I checked, I found I was connected to You Tube, (I never brought up You Tube) Came to home. couldnt fix. I called an independent repairman - he fixed.

    I have liked the Geek Squad help in the past, but this time the tech never showed up at my house and never called or texted to make contact. I called the Best Buy customer service line several times but got no information. I have asked for my money back for the visit and am still waiting for the $103.99 to be refunded. That's a lot of money for nothing.

    Still having some of same problems at this time The workman was kind felt he did not look into the problem had already made the decision and did not even set down at the computer and check it Came in with a UsB wI-fI ADAPTER SAIND YOU NEED THISHE MADE A Sale Feel he should at leas look at my computer and look for the problem
