This is the first time I had poor and dissappoing services. They (TECH & Person behind the Curtain) said I had an Operating Problem, not Software. Wanted me to leave it there without guarantee it woud be fixed, told me it wasn't covered on warranty. I left and went somewhere else. In less than 5 minutes it was fixed and it was a software issue with a simple fix. I have lost faith and confidence in Geek Squad. As a long time customer, I am not happy about how I was talked to or treated by Geek Squad.

To many mistakes on multiple purchases and no regard for my time that I have to take off to be home for the deliveries. 4-5 deliveries in past year where products delivered either broken already or broken during install or tv went bad in a month to a washer/dryer and pedestal delivery that was a disaster. After 4 attempts just on that one order it finally got finished correctly. Everyone was extremely nice! But there is a breakdown in communication somewhere with scheduling and delivery!

Took in my Dell desktop in for repair and found nothing was done after 10 DAYS despite almost daily calls into the help center for status. Finally requested escalation and was promised by Akil/ supervisor, that someone would get back to me with a firm estimated time of repair. No one ever did. The computer was finally repaired after an additional 7 days of waiting. Almost 3 weeks without a computer, without visibility into techs progress, without adequate updates is absolutely unacceptable. Our organization will never again trust, recommend or purchase Best Buy Geek Squad or products.

Agent came to our home on 12/20/2022.He was very courteous . This was concerning cameras and solar panels for the cameras. He explained that they will not work in the winter months due to not enough energy from the sun to charge the cameras, We were not informed of this when we purchased the Solar for each camera.Plus other points concerning the whole set. I am extremely disappointed about this not telling us.We are extremely disappointed!! Also my Married name is Letus. Please make the change on our account.

Last week I made an appointment with the Geek Squad to come at home to fix a problem with my computer. I got a Confirmation number: 88621572 for the appointment today May 1th between 7am and 7 pm. After 1 pm nobody showed up and I called Best Buy. To my surprise I was informed that there was no appointment scheduled for today in spite that the confirmation number was in the computer. The next available appointment was for next week. I stayed at home today waiting for the squad

Agent told me my computer was not worth fixing and it was not connecting to monitor, I was advised to buy a new computer, I was going to trash it and a relative came over to dispose of it but ask if he could have it, I told him what the tech said, few hours later relative calls and tells me the tower is working fine and the switch on the back of tower need to be turned on, meanwhile (at age 72 on pension) I went to Best Buy and bought a $900 system due to Geek Squad insufficiant diagnosis. Extremely upset.

I called the Geek Squad because I always have used them and
been saatisfied ith the service, but not this time.
The gentleman arrived on time, and sat at my computer for less
than one minute. He said 'Okay, it's fixed', and i asked how could
he fix it so quickly, and he replied that he had been working with
somputers for about 15 years. My computer still has a virus, or
my antivirus is still picking up malware and pointing to files on my computer. Just saying.

The person that came to connect my Bose Sound bar plugged in in and left. He was not worth .02 cents. Had some lady friend with him. He did not care about nothing but his lady friend. I hope I never have to deal with him again. I had to pay someone to hook the sound bar up properly.

I took my laptop in to Geek Squad to get help with missing and incorrect information. I was told that this was a Quicken issue and I need to contact Quicken...Geek Squad doesn’t cover Quicken problems. Very disappointing.

Review is not for the tech worker who went out to provide service, rather for Geeksquad/Best Buy customer service who charged an additional $99 for a visit after I purchased a $217 yearly total tech membership, which was supposed to cover an in home visit for my elderly/disabled father. Tech reinstalled a pre-paid licensed version of windows. Tech field did great but Best Buy failed to refund this over charge after talking with a Geek Squad CS supervisor, saying they'd get back to me,

I contacted geek squad to fix an issue in my computer. They transferred me to several people to solve the problem. The next thing we know the screen is blue, this is normal they said. 2 $200 gift cards purchased off my amazon account and a $100 gift card purchased off paypal appeared soon after. They hacked my account. Had to pay someone else to secure it. Do not trust them.

Had the worst experience with a geek squad person. He couldn’t sync my new iPad & iPhone. He google how to sync the e devices several times. He told me to delete everything off my phone & it would pair. I called Apple support the next day they said NEVER delete information off my iPhone. I was greatly disappointed with the geek squad visit. Hope the geek squad people would be trained better
