Ordered and paid online for an in-house hardware configuration call, and no appointment options were available. I later got an email saying to call an 800# to schedule, but my order number was a phantom, and 4 phone calls later, a total of 7 or 8 transfers to remedy the problem and I STILL don't have an appointment scheduled! All you get on the phone is lengthy hold times, a disjointed process, and nobody knows what's going on. Horrendous experience.

I will no longer subscribe to the "Geek Squad". Today I tried to schedule an appointment for a problem with a computer recently purchased at Best Buy. Was told that they could no longer schedule appointments. I was told to call on the phone, describe the problem and "maybe" they will send a tech out. I was on the phone for an hour.

Total tech plan last year covered Devices, wether purchased at Best Buy or another retailer. Upon renewal, only devices purchased at BestBuy are covered. I now have lapses in my Apple Care. I perceive this is a Huge problem for myself and others.

Very disappointed. I have Total Tech and have made many purchases at Best Buy. Ask to have a problem looked at on my printer which has always been covered by Total Tech. Was told at the store, no longer service available because Total Tech services changed.
Cancelled request for service.
Will rethink buying at Best Buy and continuing Total Tech.

What a joke!!
Paid for extended protection plan. Tech was useless, in-store appliance representative was rude, condescending and not at all helpful. Telephone support was ridiculously a waste of time.
Don't waste your money on a "protection plan" It is nonsense and very frustrating to even get anyone to acknowledge that the appliance they sold was a lemon.
Never gave a bad review to Best Buy until this year. Pathetic how the store and Geek Squad has deteriorated.

The service never happened!! I waited around most of day and when I called to check I was told the tech was sick and “didn’t they call you?” NO THEY DID NOT . I also called and talked to a district manager who basically never apologized and really could not give me the time of day.
I did talk to one person who was great and helped reschedule the appointment so will see what happens in another week when it is supposed to happen.

The guy who came to help me was fabulous. Your scheduling system was dreadful. I was told the local store people don't do scheduling. I spent perhaps 45 minutes on the phone with a person whose first language was clearly NOT English. After the visit with the swell guy, I KEPT getting notifications that my visit was upcoming. Please let the local stores make appointments.

Not worth the time or money. The only question I had was which cord I needed to hook up my printer to the new laptop I’d just bought from Best Buy. Endless wait & incomprehensible conversations later, the tech wanted full access to my computer. I hung up, googled it and figured it out on my own. Won’t be renewing this!

The tech from Geek Squad had to come to our home a few times, due to an error in getting our security system into our computer
I do not know who made the error at Best Buy, but we were charged on our credit card more than once for it. Not pleased about that. The tech was polite and worked hard for us.

I called to not renew my Total Support contract when it expired in September. Best Buy cancelled right away instead of in September. I can not get anyone to correct this mistake. I have talked to four different people. This is the worst Customer Service ever.

After about 10 visits (most at stores and 2 in home) I ended up buying 3 batteries only 1 returnable and using my laptop without a battery. All batteries were recommended with IDs for me to purchase. The last recommendation for the problem was for the connection from the battery to the mother board and they could not do that at the store. I gave up.

I had a 45 minute wait to speak to a rep on the phone. Went to BestBuy and waited 45 minutes to speak to a rep. I have a TWO WEEK WAIT for the Geek Squad to help me with my computer. TWO WEEKS WITHOUT INTERNET OR EMAIL. I wish there was an alternative. Promo says Geek Squad is available 24/7. Ha.
