After purchasing a complete new computer system - computer, monitor, external hard drive, modem and router combination, flat bed scanner, and new printer, the external hard drive and the monitor both died within a month. The initial Geek Squad setup was not the problem, just like everything - got new manufacturer junk. No issues with replacement, but found during all of the corrective process that my first Geek Squad installer set things up their way I assume, and not my way. Heads up - make sure you ask them, or they ask you how you want things installed. Anyway, a second Geek Squad Agent was called to set up my failed replacements and fix my set up, so I could effectively use my computer. Had been using computers for 25 years and was like Greek. Sure it must have been easy for them and hard for me. Anyway, the second agent had no issues with me at all and easily changed several things to something understandable and the way I wanted. Anyway, he was great, and have no issues, at least at this time. A second job that was five stars!

It was really interesting what was happening with my PC, but the geek squad expert patiently and cleverly found the problem. I know a thing or two about PCs myself and have custom built PCs and modified them before and this was beyond me, but I was impressed with the Geek Squad person who helped me out and went above and beyond.

the tech's repaired my computer in very fast time. when home visits were scheduled they usually early to arrive only after making contact and clearing it. everyone was super friendly and made it very easy to ask questions and understand the answers. very proffessional

Getting the Geek Squad in for repairs was the best thing I have ever done. Working direct with MicroSoft was a frustrating waste of time and money. The Geek Squad was professional, knowledgeable and on time with the ability to correct my issues. My annual contract is well worth the cost.

Best Buy is extremely fortunate to have Michael working for the Geek Squad. He is professional, knowledgeable, and responsible. He solves every issue, complex or simple, I might have, with my computer. He also has the ability to explain complicated problems in simple terms, so that I can understand.

Don't every buy this. I call and call, get passed around from department to department, nobody ever helps me schedule, nobody can find my order #, basically, it's like flushing $100 and 2 hours down the toilet. Never order a Geek Squad Service online, you'll never get it scheduled no matter what you try to do.

I had a big problem after the last agent came to my home May 8. After a day or two, my e-mail would not come up. If it finally was visible, I would click on individual messages to no avail. When I went into my DELETED file, I was told there were over 400 messages. Then, when I was recently asked to fill out a revue of that service, I made clear that I cannot much longer work without additional corrective help from the Geek Squad. Somebody must have read my appeal because a few days later my e-mail suddenly worked normal again. The agent who was at my home was very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing while he was on my computer. So, I don't know what happened. But right now, everything is working ok, even though nobody asked me to go into my computer. I WOULD NOT WANT A COMPUTER WITHOUT THE SECURITY OF THE GEEK SQUAD AVAILABLE.

the service is great! My computer was not working well. I could not get my emails. I thought that i had a virus. i called a friend to see who she could reccomend. She reminded me that i had The Geek squad service from Best Buy. I got it when I purchased a phone. I didn't realize that it includes ALL of the products from best buy. When I called, they provided a service remotely the serviceman was very patient with me, and this cleared up some of the problems. He also scheduled someone to do a home visit which took about 1 1/2/ hours and the results were excellent! This service is well worth the cost.

They did a great job. The man was very knowledgeable. Every time I need help the geek squad helps me out. I feel confident to have them help me. I can call every time I get stuck with a problem on my computer. You will be happy if you purchase a contract for a year like I did/
