I had a problem with an installed backup program. One Best Buy oline expert tried to fix it, but couldn't. They refunded my money, and suggested I try an in-home Geek service. So I did. A very pleasant, competant Best Buy Geek came to my home, and worked on it. It seemed to be fixed - great relief! But the next day the problem was back. I asked for another refund, but was told they'd like another chance, so I said OK. The third Geek did it, AND showed me how to handle the program! I was very happy to NOT get my money back. They are determined to succeed! Good for them! J. B.

We purchased a new computer from Best Buy - Mother Board on the old one died. Dennis Reed is our "All Time" favorite Technician. We have always (for 50 years) had our computers custom build and installed. We trusted Dennis to recommend a new computer off the shelf. He recommended the same computer that I had narrowed my search down to - without knowing my thoughts. From previous work for us - he knew our computer needs. We were able to do some of the set up process - but needed assistance on other aspects involved with the computer. He helped us with the renewal and installation of our Microsoft 365/One Drive package. He gave a great tutorial on the use of this software and the new Windows 11 that came in the new computer. He did all this while the software was downloading and Installing. He helped find data and files that we could not locate in the new Windows 11 / Microsoft 365 / One Drive configuration. We had an extensive list of questions and issues to be addressed - Dennis answered all questions and resolved all the issues on the list in a very efficient and effective manner. Dennis is very easy to work with - he explains things in layman's language and does not talk down to you. My only hesitation in doing this review is that I do not want everyone to ask for Dennis - so I am able to get him when needed. Would highly recommend the Geek Squad service - plus you get an extended warranty on your products when you are a member. And the guys and gals in the Store were good also.

the geek squad mounted my tv on the wall, installed Roku in the bedroom tv, removed all my cable boxes and installed an antenna for local channels. They were very efficient, friendly and helpful

The technician was knowledgeable & quick. He attached my new HP wireless printer to my new Samsung laptop, tablet & phone. Plus he made sure I could perform printing from each.

Had in-home visits to help with changes that occurred after bringing the PC in to the store for diagnostics. I will say that in the future I will rely on in-home visits exclusively. Excellent service and advice. I couldn’t ask for better. I am very tech challenged so it is much more helpful for me to have the service done in my home so I can make sure everything is working the way it should.

My husband had another new computer. We called Geek Squad to explain. Elizabeth was great. My husband decided to order new Apple Computer that he was use too. Elizabeth came back to our house in couple weeks with our new Apple Computer. Elizabeth set up our new computer and older printer. Elizabeth explained everything and installed printer. My hushand excited to be back with Apple Computer that he loves. My husband was very pleased with our new computer with outstanding Geek Squad person Elizabeth. Thank you Best Buy for great service.

Agent arrived when scheduled. Was thorough in evaluating our issue, provided us with several options regarding our router issue. Mesh system was recommended do to the size of our home. Fixed our current connection issue. We r considering his recommendation. We really appreciated is advise & knowledge. Not his 1st time taking care of us. Would highly recommend him.

Alan M. was sent as the technician to help me with my new computer and new printer. He was on time, friendly, yet professional, did a great job in a timely manner, was courteous and efficient. He refused a tip which I offered. I am really happy with the service he provided. I strongly recommend shoppers to purchase from Best Buy, and get their service plan. I don't regret my decisions to make multiple purchases from them over the years, and enjoy the benefits of their Geek Squad Plan, now renamed, but provides the same service.
