    Ted from Geek Squad is a Rock Star!

    Ted showed up at my house, as scheduled. It took him about an hour to fix my 3 problems. Very pleasant to work with. Would definitely recommend him to anyone.

    Worst customer service experience

    To start with my TVs picture went out about a week ago I immediately called Geek Squad support to see what action to take and I'm told that they can come in and do a in home repair. I didnt want to deal with simply because I prefer not to have people in my house and the geek squad agent told me I could bring it in store knowing it was a 65 inch TV as those are the first questions they ask when you call. So I take my TV straight to the store to get the problem taken care of and I'm told they cant fix anything in store larger than 42inches. They say the woman over the phone shouldn't have sent me but I'm still all the of taking a 65 inch TV in store for nothing. I go home and set up the in home repair as it's the only option I have and the soonest they can get to me is 5 days later. Come the day of the appointment i get called from the incompetent schlock whose supposed to fix my TV and I'm told that the part for my TV hasn't come in yet and wont until tomorrow night so i expect a fix Friday. Nope I get moved a whole week forward so I'm out a TV another week. It's the stores responsibility 100% to make sure they have what they need to fix a product on the date of appointment. I dont care that the part hadn't came in you should of had the part available before I was GUARANTEED a date when my TV would be fixed. Because I have to be home I have to miss work which costs me time and $200 of a days pay now because of reschedule I miss another day and another $200. I dont work on your time I'm the customer you work on mine that's why you're taking MY MONEY. I pay you for a service I expect service and receive none. Not to mention the money spent on the warranty to get the TV fixed. I called geek squad support because waiting another week for a repair is absolutely unacceptable. They say it's not their fault the part didnt arrive. Ok. THATS NOT MY PROBLEM I was GUARANTEED a date Its your responsibility to make sure my TV is fixed you should have made the part was available the day of repair beforehand. All that's been done to rectify this is moving the reschedule a day ahead which is still unacceptable. All I can say is I've bought 6 TVs from best buy over a 3 year period 4 of them 65inches and above that ceases with my experience today. More than happy to take my business elsewhere.

    Martin was here on time, answered all of my questions, and was easy to talk to. he gave me the needed info, plus more hints for trouble shooting my new I-Pad.

    49" Monitor setup

    I have a 49" monitor and a desktop which I have on the floor. The monitor has some unique settings. I'm 82 so I'm not too agile. The guys did a great job.

    Sound on desktop out.

    The sound was not working on my desktop computer. Computer is about 1 year old. Tech got it working in about 1/2 hour. She was here about 2 weeks ago and all working good on desktop.
