Maybe I did not set it up correctly, but it notified us that it detected water, but not as an urgent alert. If it was more than a small leak, this might be an issue for the product. Maybe it should make a loud noise or alert more prominently. It did work and do what it was supposed to do.

I put this in the basement near my window where water comes in. During rainy days, it triggers the alarm. I had problems installing. It did not connect the first time and I couldn’t find the instructions to reset it, so it could reconnect again. I’m planning to buy more so I can spread it out where possible water leak.

I cannot take any more chance that to happen again and decided to install one. It has been saving us from water damage. It is an excellent product.
