Geek Squad installed all the TV's in our new home. They were the consummate professionals -- arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently, cleaned up all packing materials and made sure that everything worked perfectly before they left. They were very knowledgeable and very patient in explaining to me the workings of and options on each TV, important because I consider myself a digitally challenged consumer. One TV did not work properly and they immediately took it back and arranged for a replacement installation, at my convenience. They were informative in offering suggestions but with no effort to up-sell or get me to purchase additional but unnecessary items. I really appreciated that all was accomplished with no hassles.

I purchased a new Sony X900F and had the GEEK squad come and do the set up for me. While I think I would have been able to figure things out for myself, I think it was well worth it to have set up done professionally the first time. I also felt that if there were a problem with anything or something extra that I needed, that my tech would have spotted it and been better able to deal with things than I would have been. It would probably also have taken me hours longer to register, connect components and adjust all the of settings, and carting a box the size of a 55" TV home by myself might have been a bit precarious. Having all of this done for me was a luxury and well worth the price of admission in my book.

The Geek Squad was really fantastic! They arrived on time and gave me notice when they were coming. When they arrived, they quickly assessed what they had to do and began immediately to bring in the tv and unpacking. They set up everything. They connected all devices, blue ray, Apple TV and Ethernet; made sure all connections were operating properly. It was great to see how efficient they were and gave me a sort of tutorial about how to use the tv. That was great and saved me a lot of time exploring through a manual. This service was really great, I could not have purchased the Tv without it. I was happy to see they had a service like this, but I wasn’t sure how good it would be. I had the TV set up on a console.

I am really glad that we paid to have the Geek Squad set up our new 75 inch Sony TV. When you pay a lot for a high-end piece of technology, you don't want to worry about getting it home, getting it down the narrow staircase to our family room, and connecting it to all of the various components that you have. The two Geek Squad members who set up our TV were very professional, technically competent, and performed the set-up quickly, then taught us how to use the remote and programmed it to interact with our other components. This would have taken me much longer to do, and undoubtedly been a frustrating experience. Very happy that we purchased this extra service.

This was the first time I have used the Geek Squad for a delivery and set up of a new television purchased recently at my local Best Buy. What would have taken me a whole afternoon to do, the Geek Squad associates accomplished in apprx. 1 1/2 hours. But more importantly, connecting the Samsung QLED to my home internet network was done in seconds and fully explained to me. I use a LogiTech Harmony One remote to operate our entire audio/video system and the Geek Squad programmed it in just a few clicks to operate the new TV . It is money well spent to have a professional do your set up the correct way the first time.

Two Geek Squad guys arrived punctually to set up my new TV and sound bar. Anthony and Brandon were a great team. They got the work done quickly and efficiently. They may have been geeks, but they didn't lack for customer service skills. They were friendly, outgoing, and very helpful in explaining and demonstrating my new equipment. This was a smart purchase for me, as it got the work done quickly and correctly (with a strong emphasis on correctly, something I would not be likely to achieve myself). They encouraged me to have the TV calibrated after 80 hours of use, something that I was not aware would be a worthwhile investment. Good job, Geek Squad!

I made sure I had their names. Benjamin Ford and KC Bittick are two fine techs who impressed me with their knowledge of the products they were here to install and their obvious pride in their workmanship. They resonded to our questions in an understandable way. They are very personable and always seemed to be smiling as they talked to us. By the time they were finished and ready to leave their character and personalities were what pleased us the most. They had done their jobs excellently and went that extra step of just being two men you were happy you met. They are "keepers" and should be paid well. They enhance your reputation.

Installed my Sony TV and hooked up with other devices. Worked with me to show the capabilities and features of remote. Since this was my first Smart TV showed the features of that. Tested other devices to ensujre they were connected correctly. Could not test sound through tuner as did not have the correct cord. If the store does not identify the need for a cord when they sell it to you then the installers do not have it when they come out and only do what they can with what is on site. However, they installed all and told me what cable to get and how to install and make changes. Did it with no problem. Very professional crew.

After purchasing the tv and audio system and a universal remote . I had to wait many days for install. The magnolia sales man over charged my credit card and also dissuaded me from ordering a a certain subwoofer and speakers . I have never seen customers told not to buy an expensive subwoofer or TV , normally sales people would be happy to see you go for expensive items ! He instead of giving what i ordered send me or tried to push and ordered an item using my card and without my permission. The Salesman Mr Stan told me Bose acoustimas 10 series v system is not available. I didn't believe him . So i ordered it from Amazon . He without permission ordered acostimas 6 series speakers delivered to my house . And I didn't like the dubious way the bill was raised or not raised . I asked for a clear straight forward itemized bill ,but didn't fo . People beware ! This guys billing practice is mysterious and devious. At one point he even asked for my social security number and date of birth too . Geek squad guys were good but the other guy in the Magnolia spoilt it !

I can read a manual as well as the next person.LG has a user friendly manual and TV. Cox does not. Geek Squad came in and made my tv/soundbar/cox work like a well oiled machine. Instead of having multiple controllers,they made everything work together seamlessly in one controller. All settings were customized for my pleasure and I was left with a great demonstration on how to do further adjustments as needed. The tech was efficient, listened to my questions and made sure I knew how to operate my system with full confidence. I'm glad I called and signed up for their services.

I bought a 65" QLED TV and purchased the extended warranty and Geek Squad coverage as my 55" Smart TV had died shortly after the 1 yr. manufacturer's warranty had run out. The Geek Squad Rep showed up on time and when he realized my TV was not at my home he went to the local Best Buy, picked it up, and came back within 30 minutes to install it. Did a great job and also installed a current technology Blue Ray player he recommended and had on his truck. If you live in the Montgomery County, MD area I highly recommend Kevin Autrey, he went "above & beyond" the call.

I was hesitant when I found that my installer was a sub contractor but he was terrific. He installed my new television and made sure everything was working perfectly. He removed an old television that was heavy and huge. He had to move a television that I had in another room and made sure that this television worked in its new room. He also installed a new receiver and made sure everything was hooked up properly and spent time explaining everything about the new features on this receiver. He was very professional and I would recommend this service to anybody.

Geek Squad Team: Sebastian and partner were Awesome! Although I’m capable of hooking up my own home theater system, I really appreciated their help since I have injured my back a few days ago. I can say that this team is professional, friendly and attentive to your home theatre set up needs. They were both efficient & knowledgeable. They’ve answered all questions in detail. They didn’t damage the boxes that my purchases came in and were attentive in keeping the unpacking mess to a minimum which I appreciated.

We love Geek Squad! They know electronics and how to install them properly. They took our old tv away for us and installed the new tv. They took the time to explain how everything we purchased worked and even called the next day to make sure everything was working properly and to see if we had any additional questions. Very hard workers, very proud of their work, outstanding customer service, great communication with us through the entire process including calling to tell us when they expected to arrive. We will use them again without hesitation.

Hannah was my Geek Squad installer. She did a great job of setting up and explaining the operation of my new LG OLED 55" TV. I had a new Sony headset purchased from Best Buy (based on a previous Geek Squad Samsung TV install) as a gift for me that I had never used and wanted to use with this TV. Unfortunately, it couldn't be used, but Hannah went out of her way to see if it could be be returned or if I could make it work with an adapter. I appreciate her dedication to her job and her excellent customer service skills. Keep up the great work!

Very clean surround sound set up

I was a little hesitant to hire the Geek Squad to install our new surround sound system. However, I was wrong. Ronnie & Bob were very professional, knew exactly what they were doing & did a great job. The wiring to the receiver is very clean with minimal wires visible. Ronnie took the time to write out a chart of which HDMI and other connections to use in the remote when going from TV, to Blu Ray, music, etc. He then went through the programing with us and we have had no problems using the system. We are very happy with the install and the entire system.

I am pretty tech savvy and I thought it to be a waste of money to add the set up of my OLED TV and soundbar, to the GEEK SQUAD. Well it was worth every penny. Not only just the convenience of not hauling the thing around but the quick professional job they did in setting both up for viewing, answering my questions, being neat, and just being very friendly.
The other thing too is that if you go ahead and set something up yourself and it does not work just right; manufacturers tend to put the blame on you, the installer.

When the guys from Geek Squad were here to install the TV, Soundbar and the mounts, they knew exactly what they were doing. They connected the TV in the living room to the cable box and then selected the active channels for us. They worked very cleanly and took the boxes back with them. Then before they left they showed us how to operate everything. It was a very good experience. The last time we had people (from elsewhere) they hung the TV and basically made sure it worked and left. The installers we had were great.

I had the Geek Squad set up my new LG OLED. It was a temporary installation since a custom built-in was about a week away from delivery. Nevertheless the technicians did a great job of set up and showing me how the operate the TV. They also verified that the TV worked properly with my 4k Blue Ray player and home theater receiver. For a small extra charge they moved my old 65" plasma set upstairs.
I was so impressed with their professionalism that I purchased the Geek Squad extended warranty.

Unfortunately the delivery service came in and set up the TV and were not able to answer any questions. Best Buy had to use a contract service on this particular day due to so many deliveries for its regular in store crew. When I complained to the store manage he apologized and sent the Geek Squad. They checked the installation and installed a panel that had been left in the box and did not leave until I had all my questions answered and was sure I knew how to move around the TV with the remote.
