    Geek Squad Installed quickly and professionally my 77" TV and video components and Internet-capable components to my wireless network, and they performed software or firmware updates, and configured streaming services. In addition, we will and programed the remotes and , ensure that all wires and cables are neatly dressed, and made sure the workspace was clean when finished they offer a 90-day limited workmanship warranty . they have great attitude and are very service friendly minded.

    Unlike our adult children who are very comfortable using the latest technology, I am not. When we purchased a new 65 inch TV and new sound bar there was not a doubt in my mind that I was going to use the Geek Squad to help set up the new TV. These two young people were very patient and understanding and did not leave our house until they were certain that we could operate the new TV without any problems. I would not hesitate to again use them for any important purchase.

    I was very pleased with the service we received from the Geek squad. They were quick to deliver and set-up went smoothly. It was more complex then we thought and glad we got someone who was very tech oriented. We had some difficulty with the set-up within 24 hrs. and had the tech return within 2 days. They were prepared to replace the TV but found it wasn’t a technical problem and corrected it with moving the TiVo and sound bar to a different location. Very professional and friendly.

    I had Geek Squad deliver a 65in TV to my home and they were the best delivery service I have ever used because they go over and beyond what I expected from them. First they wore their own shoe covers when entering my home to protect my new carpeting. In addition, the back of my TV needed to be secured by wire to the back of the table it was on (so the TV would not tip over) and they cheerfully did that too even though the delivery instructions said they wouldn't.

    I decided to use the Geek Squad TV connect and setup service because I have a bad back. I'd do it again even if I were perfectly healthy. The set was delivered by two squad members. They were extremely careful, knowledgeable, friendly,and even humorous. They very quickly unboxed the set and had it up and running, connected to wifi and adjusted to my liking. After explaining how to control the set, they took all the packing materials and left me to enjoy my new tv.

    When I purchased my new 65" Sony X930E, I opted for delivery instead of trying to get it home myself. I decided to let GeekSquad hang the new set and opted to have them set it up as well. The cost was reasonable and it was a great experience. The techs were knowledgeable and shared insights and advice. They connected all of my equipment in a way I hadn't thought of and made everything interact seemlessly. As an aside, i had an existing all in one remote that they programmed perfectly.

    The two techs that came to my place were fast and very knowledgeable. And I can add that they were very patient! The reason this is important is that I have not had a new TV in a VERY long time so I needed not only a good set up, but I also needed a LOT of instruction! They put up with all of my questions and re-asking of questions! They also gave me some great advice on other products I had questions about as well as options for wall mounting and good options on mounts.

    The installers did a great job. I had wires galore & they got all the wires that I did not need out of the way. They unplugged all the old devices from the old TV set. There was no big deal & they just did their job very professionally. They hooked up all my new & old devices to the new TV. It was questionable on my old dvd/vcr machine, but that one was also hooked up. I did not have a wall mount because the TV was on a “TV stand” between and entertainment center. Thanks guys!

    My experience with the Geek Squad was great. They were so helpful and even alerted me to a mistake that hid been made in store regarding a warranty. I am sure they helped avoid disaster. They went above and beyond installing my tv is a somewhat tricky situation and really gave me a lot of time and answered all my questions. I don't like that best buy charged me a delivery fee when the item had already been delivered and I only needed someone to install it to the wall, but that's not geek squads fault.

    The Geek Squad (Michael) was fantastic. He was very methodical, neat, friendly (very personable) and showed us everything we needed to know about using our new TV and some hints to make things easier. Since this TV went out after a few days....just a bad TV....Michael came out and checked it and declared it dead. Of course that TV was replaced and we requested Michael be our Geek Squad installer! Again he provided great service....Best Buy should be proud of this young man!

    Was so nice having Geek Squad bring our new 65 in OLED to our 2nd floor TV room, set it up, and take away the carton and packing. They knew exactly what to do to adjust the settings to work with my 4k Roku ultra, and went through showing me how to work the TV. They also provided a number to call in case there were further questions. Saved me from a great deal of time and frustration. If you are going to make a big purchase like this, I highly recommend Geek Squad connect and setup.

    I already reviewed the installation, but I'm talking about my purchase of the 55" LG OLED c8pua TV! It has brilliant clear images, and perfect blacks! The only negative is that it's really expensive for the average Joe! Also, if you think the colors are not totally accurate in Sports Mode, It's easy to tweak the color and tint if you know what you're doing, and it becomes Sport Mode (USER)! Bottom line; if you want perfection, you have to pay for it!

    Whenever I buy a new router and modem I use the Geek Squad to install and set it up. Lame you say? Well I can do the basic setup myself just as most everyone can that has a little computer savy. What the Geek Squad adds to the equation is a maxed out installation as good as it can be, What do I get out of the extra money spent? Better routing to my higher bandwidth apps, more uniform coverage throughout the house and NO ERROR MESSAGES. Pay the Geek Squad and kick back and relax.

    You can count on the Geek Squad

    The Geek Squad had several things on the punch list including wall mounting a 43" flat screen, installing a speaker system, moving a TV to another room and activating my universal remotes. They did an excellent job. In addition, my current WiFi device did not give a strong signal throughout the house, so they recommended installing a mesh network to improve the signal strength. They installed EERO and it works fantastic. I would the Geek Squad again.

    The Geek that hooked up our new 4K TV did a great job! He worked fast and when he left, we knew how to operate the TV and DVD. When the DVD player is turned on, the TV automatically switches over without having to select the new source. When the DVD is turned off, the TV automatically switches back to the cable source. I don't know how he did this, but it is really handy! It was definitely worth the money to have an expert set up the new TV system.

    My TV was delivered and set-up by Lee and Shaun. I could not have asked for or imagined two more professional or knowledgeable men. They took care around my furnishings, and during set-up answered all my questions and posed a few answers to questions I had not asked that they thought I might like to know. They followed this with a hands on tutorial of the TV, remote and all the accessories that had been added to the entertainment center. Wonderful experience.

    The technician (Ryan) arrived and time and quickly went to work removing the old TV and prepping for the newer, larger one. After everything was ready, the new screen was mounted and connected. After all the connections were done, he powered everything up to make sure all equipment (cable box, sound bar, DVD, Apple TV) all worked with the TV, and then programmed them all into one remote. Anytime I had a question, he provided the answer. Worth the extra money in the long run.

    I must admit, when I first heard of this "Geek Squad", I thought it was unnecessary. With technology changing by the minute, I thought I would give it a try. Not only was this tv a two man lifting operation, it made a huge difference in the quality of the picture, when they tweak and geeked it. It was great to sit and watch someone else do the work for a change. Plan on purchasing the wireless Sonas speaker system and will definitely use the Geek Squad again.

    I'm well versed to have done all the wiring for my A/V equipment and the TV. However, I spent a whole day moving wires, routing, etc. Although Geek Squad leveraged most of the wire routing already in place, the pure convenience was well worth the purchase. They even bound lose cables and wires and made everything look very neat. My new Yamaha receiver was even calibrated. I'd have spent at least if not more time. The convenience factor and no stress made it worth it.

    Edward and Ryan set up our new entertainment system, which included a TV, receiver, CD changer, speakers, and Logitech remote controller for these devices plus devices we already had. I was impressed with their knowledge and expertise and how they helped us fine tune everything so all the devices worked together. It's a pleasure to be able to recommend Best Buy and the Geek Squad to friends and family without reservation.
