I just moved into my new build house with tile fireplace and was very nervous to have someone drill through the tile, but Kevin from Geek Squad at Best Buy was a total pro and took good care of everything. He made sure I had the best mount and cabling for my setup and left everything clean when he finished. I took away one star because of the online scheduling. I booked my appointment several weeks ahead of time and had a hold payment on my credit card, but for some unknown reason the appointment was canceled by Best Buy just 2 days away from the appointment. I had to redo the appointment online which was charging more than the initial price, so I had to call customer service to get things resolved at the correct price (customer service was professional and got it taken care of - but it was stressful and took up my time to coordinate rescheduling, etc.)

Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of the Geek Squad member who mounted my big screen TV, but he is a ROCK STAR!!! My TV needed to be mounted above the fireplace, with a new wall mount which I also bought at Best Buy. Glad I bought it because the guy said that while I possibly could use the same one, the new one I bought would be much better. He measured everything, used a level, put that TV up (he had an assistant that was also great) did it in record time and perfectly!! He took the old TV (50 inch) and installed that one upstairs in my master bedroom, AFTER putting together a new TV stand that I had to buy (also at Best Buy!). He also installed my new DVD player AND Sound Bar! All items that I also purchased at Best Buy. This guy totally deserves all accolades, bonuses, raises, etc. that you will allow!! He was kind, friendly and patient...and funny! I would recommend him again in a heartbeat!! So, if his name is on record with my installation, give that man KUDOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Geek Squad workers! installed our TVs on the wall in our family room and in our bedroom. They were very professional and competent. Worked out problems with connections and made both TVs work!

Ian and Steve arrived on time, explained what their plan was and executed it perfectly. Not only did they do a professional install, they cleaned up and spent time with us making sure we knew how to work each component of the TV - receiver and installing our apps and making sure each one worked ! Thanks these two are pros and commend them for representing Best Buy and the Geek Squad in an awesome way!

The contractor arrived on time, assessed the space, and offered helpful suggestions to ensure the TV was mounted securely and at the perfect height. They worked quickly without cutting any corners, double-checking every detail to ensure the installation was flawless. The result looks incredible—clean, level, and exactly how I envisioned it. Not only was the quality of work outstanding, but he also left the area spotless, taking care to clean up after the job was done. Their friendly demeanor and clear communication made the entire process smooth and stress-free.

So happy that I chose this service! I bought an older home and I knew that attempting to place a large TV onto my walls would be a challenge! The Geek Squad handle this task with ease pride to my home and exact precision! They even confirmed my thoughts that my room was built with imperfections but the TV was definitely a great choice for my family room!

The agent was very professional and effecient the only reason i didnt give 5 stars was because i ordered a wall mount and there was a miscommunication between geek squad and the store on that item so it was never mounted and we used the prexisting wall mount i wish i was informed about the wall mountI purchased with this order not being available prior to agent coming to my home but other wise he went above and beyond

The Geek Squad staff arrived on time. Were efficient in the installation of the wall mound and television. They made sure all components were working correctly before leaving.

Antonio and his fellow technician were savvy, efficient, friendly, and gave sound advice. They installed the tv mount and connected everything expertly, while optimizing which cables should be plugged in where (such as the sound bar to the eArc on the TV, etc). Where they mounted it looks fantastic on our wall and gave plenty of space next to the television for wall mounting the PS5 / Nintendo Switch. Appreciated as well the care they took of the television, ie wiping it down, placing it on padding instead of directly on the floor. Helped it stay pristine, the way I like to keep it. I recently bought a high-end Samsung TV and soundbar. Geek Squad installed both for me since I subscribe to the Best Buy tech program. I was very pleased with their service. Two techs arrived at the agreed upon time and were able to install the new units very quickly. They also boxed up my old TV since I was giving it to my grandson. I couldn't be happier with their help and service. Hooking up a TV and programming it takes a bit of doing these days and the fellows who came were very knowledgeable and took the time to explain all the features of the TV to me.

this is not the first time i have had brittany as the technician for an installation. she is very professional. knowledgeable about the product and always goes above and beyond to make sure able to use the new purchase.

This review was for wall mount installation of a Samsung QN85c 85". Expectation: This TV is quite a beast, so we knew the installation would have be up to par. Result: The installation team (more on that below) did an absolutely fantastic job with installation. They had a few challenges with cable routing through the wall and worked through it for a flawless configuration. We couldn't be any happier with the results. Special kudos to the Installation Team Lead! See below. A word of warning about the BB appt tools however. When the TV was purchased in-store -- the salesperson set up the installation appt during the sale. The appropriate emails were sent out by BB's system and all seemed well. Until 9:30pm (PM!) the night before the scheduled appt -- when an automated system emailed from BB claiming that the next morning's appt was only to deliver the mount. I decided we'd just wait until morning and see what transpired. I'm glad we did because the installation team lead had our backs! He called the next morning and we were able to sort everything out with them arriving with TV and mount to do the job as originally scheduled. Coda: After the flawless installation, we received multiple emails from BB's scheduling system to schedule our "2nd" appt (the one to install the TV that was already installed). After several of these, I finally called BB and was able to get the 2nd appt slot cancelled. Note: I'm not counting off any review points for the scheduling issue as a) it still happened on time, and b) the installation team lead saved the day.

Our TV installer was prompt and professional. We give him a solid 5 stars. The Best Buy process of scheduling our install was absolutely dismal- a true failure at the corporate level. I gave this review 5 stars, however, because the Geek Squad installer had nothing to do with Best Buy's ineptitude.

The two agents were very helpful and courteous. Very happy with the installation and they removed all of the packaging for the TV, mounts etc. I purchased HDMI cables ahead of time to reduce the chance of needing to buy one from the installers. I bought 10 ft cables for a "full motion TV mount" and thought that would be long enough and it turns out, we needed a 12 ft HDMI cable to ensure it was long enough. I was able to purchase it from my technician and I am happy for the convenience, but I wish I was given guidance ahead of time that a 10 ft cable wouldn't be long enough and should try to shop for a 12 ft one on my own. I also purchased the recommended Sanus In Wall Cable Concealment kit. The kit only has 2 power outlets at the top. I wish Sanus would provide one that has 4 potential outlets. What we had to do in order to power the TV, Apple TV, and Soundbar was to go out and buy a splitter to make the 2 outlet ports into 3. Thankfully our technician gave us a heads up mid-install and we were able to quickly run out and get one of these adapters. Another item that I think should be strongly recommended to be purchased ahead of time since I'm sure this may be a common scenario for other clients. Overall, very happy with how everything turned out and glad I went with Geek Squad for this work.

They did a great job of delivering & setting up my new TV. They were punctual & very professional. The guys were very careful in my home & made sure I knew how to operate my new TV before they left. And they were very patient in answering my questions.
