Your Agent restored my compromised email account and problems with my passwords. The agent got all my connected equipment working perfectly and also answered a lot of questions that I had problems with. He arrived on time and was very professional. He cleared up a lot of confusing issues using clear issues without using a lot of technical jargon. That made a lot sense to a person like myself being a senior citizen for quite a few years. Thank you for the geek squad crew!

The agent helped correct some issues with my virus connection and check the system to be sure all my programs were operating at peak performance.

Steve was prompt, quick & knowledgeable. He set up new laptop & connected it to all the peripherals & made sure it communicated with TV, printer, network, etc. Told us to call/text him if any issues came up after he left or in the future. Glad we have TotalTech & that they have Steve.

Carlos got in touch with me before the appointment to go over the issues. He arrived on time, was very polite and we worked through the problems (that, unfortunately, had been caused by Geek Squad's remote techs) collaboratively. Because of him and the other techs at the East Hanover store, who also worked on my PC, I might renew the Total Tech plan. However, I will not allow Geek Squad's remote techs to access my PC. They do not know what they are doing.

The young men were informative, polite, courteous, and very knowledgeable. Very helpful in explaining the operation.

Best buys needs to employ more people like him & the geek squad would be number one. Date of home service was 10/15/2020. Thank you for solving the issue with the printer on the network- printer was printing extremely slow & now it is printed without any issues. You restored my faith in Best Buy’s geek squad being able to provide outstanding service.

Technician was knowledgable, patient and efficient

Best Buy and its Geek Squad are one of the few businesses and services I trust in the Elgin area. Adrian (my technical advisor whom I previously rated as "Excellent") and Marco (who sold me an Apple desktop computer as well as a mobile phone along with an appropriate service plan) are true professionals. No sales pitches from either of them. Just good useful advice. Both of these men are Best Buy "keepers".

My technicians were terrific - knowledgeable, efficient and respectful. Unfortunately, the issues couldn't be fixed at home, so I had to take my equipment into the store for resolution. Had another visit, which was also excellent - but still didn't resolve my issues, due to the wrong replacement product the store told me I needed. So I have yet another appointment - in two weeks. Sigh.

Uriah performed a number of services for me; I had a long list that I needed help with. He removed spyware, found 5 infections, and got my laptop and desktop emails in sync with each other. Set up auto-fill for email addresses on the laptop. Connected printer to laptop.

The agent was punctual, polite and friendly. He had been here before so we were familiar with him. He was professional and friendly. The virus has not returned to our PC equipment. Thank you so much.

Drew cleaned up my computer and came back a 2nd time because I was still having issues. He was very patient both times and answered all my questions knowledgably, I only gave a 4 star rating because it is my habit. I am a firm believer that there is always room for improvement, even if you can't put a finger on any particular thing. I still have some issues but because of Drew's shared knowledge, I understand how to deal with them myself and that sometimes my issues are just a matter of my system updating. All in all, a very good experience with Drew.

Geek squad team checked the computer to be sure it was virus free and explained why we were getting misleading notifications.

Since I had to wait a week for the Geek Squad service call I had to find an alternative repair service. When the Geek Squad technician did arrive he did a very through job making sure everything was working. So i had to pay twice. First for Geek Squad membership and second to the alternative repair service I had to call.
